Arusha, Tanzania To Serengeti, Tanzania

Valid for Departures Now Through: 31 Dec 2018

Day 1
Arusha, Tanzania
Lake Duluti Serena Hotel Dinner
With a warm welcome upon your arrival, you’ll be transferred to your delightful accommodations in Arusha, northern Tanzania’s safari capital.
Day 2
Arusha, Tanzania
Maramboi Tented Camp Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, best known for its large elephant population and the majestic baobab trees that dwarf the animals that feed beneath them. After settling into your safari lodge, grab your camera and meet your expert ranger to set out for a late afternoon game drive. Tonight, you will be immersed in the African safari experience as you dine beneath the stars.
Day 3
Tarangire National Park, Tanzania
Maramboi Tented Camp Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Join your expert ranger for morning and afternoon game viewing activities in the Tarangire / Manyara corridor. Tarangire National Park, with its river providing the only permanent water supply during the dry season, supports a great diversity of wildlife — elephants, giraffe, buffalo, lesser kudu, zebra, lion, leopard and cheetah.
Day 4
Tarangire National Park, Tanzania
Ngorongoro Farm House Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Set out early this morning for Lake Manyara. The seasonal flamingos lining its shore provide the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. Large herds of elephant roam the park and your ranger will diligently seek out the park’s fabled tree-climbing lions and countless wildlife photo opportunities. Continue on to your lodge for the next two nights, perfectly situated to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 5
Ngorongoro, Tanzania
Ngorongoro Farm House Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Descend some 2,000 feet to explore the crater floor of this extinct, collapsed volcano. You’ll be in awe of the wildlife concentrated here. Zoom in on the elephants wandering along well-worn tracks. Listen for the roaring lion guarding its large pride. Gazelle quietly graze, surrounded by zebra and wildebeest, and you might spot the endangered rhino feeding down by the lake. Enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to your camp.
Day 6
Ngorongoro, Tanzania
Serengeti Mobile Camp Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Take a short flight and drive to the great Serengeti — “endless plains” in the Maasai language. While the exact timing is difficult to predict, here is where more than two million wildebeest, half a million Thomson’s gazelle and a quarter-million zebra gather for annual migrations, attracting large predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena.
Day 7
Serengeti, Tanzania
Serengeti Mobile Camp Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Depart early in the morning for your first game drive of the day. Collect a gallery of thrilling images as the morning unfolds: a lioness relaxing after her morning hunt; alert elephants carefully guarding their young as they traverse the bush; a startled warthog running with tail erect; ungainly herds of wildebeest grazing alongside zebra. Relax at camp until the day cools down and the animals become more active before setting out for your afternoon game drive.
Day 8
Serengeti, Tanzania
Serengeti Mobile Camp Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
During morning and afternoon game viewing activities, your ranger continues to lead you to the locations where you are able to observe the wildlife quietly and at your leisure. Watch the many species of game grazing in close proximity to your camp as the sun sets over the savanna.
Day 9
Serengeti, Tanzania
None Breakfast, Lunch
It is time to savor your last morning in Tanzania. After a short flight to Arusha, you’ll enjoy lunch and a place to relax at a day room reserved for your use at a charming lodge. Later tonight, you are transferred to the airport for your onward arrangements.

I could have have even imagined the experience that awaited us. The first night on a game drive we experienced watching lions eating a kill, so close you could smell the animals. All other animal siteings were equally as exciting. The lodging were excellent, service was first class and the people were wonderful. Cannot wait to go again. Post Haste Travel & African Travel did a fantastic job.!!!

Our African Travel experience was fantastic. We didn't know what to expect, but having said that, our African experience was far and away more than we could have dreamed. The game drives and safari hotels were all great. WE couldn't have planned this trip alone, so the African Travel Inc. portion was vital to our having a great time, which we certainly did.

Great trip. Almost seamless transitions from one camp to another. I am a bit baffled that the 5% repeat traveler was not applied to these last two trips to Africa with African Travel.

Everyone we dealt with at Africa Travel were great. They arranged the best guides and made sure our travel through every airport and border was smooth and without issues. Anytime we had a question, they quickly responded through their contact people in every location. Our travel advisor selected Africa Travel for us, but we cannot say enough good things about our accommodations and all of the logistical arrangements.

This was the first time that we have used Africa Adventure Company. Their recommendations for trip itinerary and accommodations were spot-on. The private guides were exceptional - extremely knowledgeable, courteous, accommodating, and professional. They were great ambassadors for their respective countries, and we saw many animals and rare animal behaviors because of their expertise, leadership, and guidance.

African Answers .was very easy to work with and ALWAYS available for questions. My contact at Africa Answers was Rowan and he did a great job; I was taken care of from the minute I stepped off the plane until I left the country. A person was assigned to me in both countries I visited. People who listened, were on time or early for pickups and very knowledgable about every portion of the area I was vacationing in. My last day in country I was not feeling well, so on the fly I asked to drop something that had been planned for me to do and instead just find a place to rest. The guys that Africa Answers was working with took care of everything. Book with these guys.

African Travel was great! Other than a small hiccup with a hotel in Capetown (which they remedied), the trip was awesome. The drivers and tour guides that they hire were all super friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. The businesses they chose for Shark Diving, Cape of Good Hope, and the Thorny Bush Reserve were excellent places. My wife and I would definitely recommend African Travel to friends and family! Cheers!
