We recommend stopping in Oak Creek Canyon at Indian Gardens Cafe, a local favorite, for coffee or lunch. As you continue north to Flagstaff, history buffs will delight in the Route 66 nostalgia, museums and attractions dedicated to Native American culture and old west legacy. The Museum of Northern Arizona, Walnut Canyon National Monument, historic downtown Flagstaff along Route 66, and the 1950s vintage Galaxy Diner are all worth visiting.

Arrive at Grand Canyon Airport in the midafternoon for a shared forty-five-minute helicopter flighseeing tour over the Canyon (seven passengers maximum), fully headset-narrated by your pilot-guide. This is a dramatic and stunning way to see the Canyon.

You will float on the gentle waters of this stretch of river beneath sheer 1,000-foot red rock canyon walls. Enjoy a stop along the way to view ancient petroglyphs and eat a picnic lunch in a beautiful setting. You will then motor back upstream to your starting point where you began your journey.

You will stop along the trail to enjoy a picnic lunch amongst the hoodoos.

After your time exploring Bryce, depart for the one-and-a-half-hour journey to Springdale, Utah for check-in and overnight.

Springdale is the gateway community at the west entrance to Zion National Park. Established in the fall of 1862, Springdale was home to European settlers and has been welcoming people ever since. Upon arriving in Klamath Falls, our daughter became pretty ill and was not able to whitewater raft on the first day of our vacation. I called the customer service number and explained the situation and asked if it would be possible to change to another day. The young woman I spoke with was SO kind and helpful. She took all the information, called the tour company and called me back in a very short period of time. She was able to schedule the tour for later in the week and by that day, we were ALL able to go on the whitewater rafting excursion. Crater Lake National park was spectacular and I would highly recommend this service and location!

Mindy organized a wonderful vacation for our family. We enjoyed spending two full days with an absolutely outstanding tour guide at Yellowstone followed by two more half days with the same guide at the Grand Tetons. He gave us an appreciation for the spectacular surroundings and led us to see over 25 species of wildlife. We also had a wonderful time attending a rodeo and biking. Mindy even was able to add a white water rafting trip down the Snake River at the last minute. We are so looking forward to planning our next trip at other national parks with this very knowledgeable and committed organization. Thank you so much!

Grand Canyon, Bryce, and Zion National Parks

By: Jim

The trip exceeded my expectations. The private tours of the parks were interesting and the tour guides were very kid-friendly. We had a free morning in Page, Arizona and added a trip to Lower Antelope Canyon. This is a "must see" and was the favorite part of our trip for my three children. This slot canyon is 9 miles from Page and is the most visited slot canyon in America. We used Ken's tours and were accommodated within an hour without reservations. One day tours are adequate for the South rim of the Grand Canyon and Bryce. However, my family could have spent several days in Zion. The beauty of all three parks cannot be captured on film. The daily hikes were beautiful and totaled 15 miles spread out over 4 days.

It was a delightful experience! We especially enjoyed our guide, Slim Woodruff. She not only enabled us to experience the Canyon but also shared well the history of the Kolb brothers and others in the development of “tourism” so that others could visit and explore the Canyon. When questioned, Slim was knowledgeable of all the support services available to those who live in the park and to those who visit. Our helicopter ride was exciting and definitely memorable also!

this organization was good, the only drawback was their wine tour. the first winery didnt know we were coming and the last one was primarily a hard sell for their wine club, madrigal winery was delightful. but none of the tours actually highlighted the whole process of wine making like the tours i took at mondavi or beringer.

Our trip to Glacier National Park in Montana and Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada was simply breathtaking. We loved our itinerary, stayed in fabulous Fairmont Hotels, had excellent private tour guides with Discovery Banff and got to see parts of the world that are overwhelmingly beautiful. The memories we made on this trip will stay with my family forever. We would definitely recommend Revealed America National Parks to anyone who wants to visit the US or Canadian National Parks.

Fairbanks to the Brooks Range, North Slope, and Prudhoe Bay

By: ArtR

Reviewed on: 22 Sep 2018

This segment of our trip was terrific, but perhaps not for everyone. Distances are vast, leading to long hours in the van. Lodging and food are both basic. But we were thrilled by the Brooks Range and North Slope, and by the stunning wildlife sightings. If at all possible, choose the 4-day option rather than the 3-day option that we did due to time constraints. If you are primarily interested in the natural world, the discomfort of this trip is well worth it.
