Day 1

Greeting by your personal host following international arrival into Panama City and private transfer to the Casco Viejo, or the Old Quarter. Settled in 1673, the Casco Viejo was built following the near-total destruction of the original Panama city, Panama Viejo in 1671, when the latter was attacked by pirates. It was designated a World Heritage Site in 1997. Enjoy your first afternoon and evening exploring these quaint streets with your expert guide and dining in a trendy Panamanian restaurant.

Day 2
Panama City, Panama

The following day will be orientated around the Panama Canal where you will get a hands-on feel for the canal’s history, economic importance and engineering brilliance. After a tour of the old administration building and barracks, you will then be taken on a VIP tour of the canal with a local expert at the Miraflores Lock. Here you will have exclusive access to view the ships up close and personal as they change levels, making their journey from the Atlantic to the Pacific.

Spend your afternoon at the innovative biodiversity museum designed by “starchitect” Frank Gehry, designed in reference to the richly diverse flora and fauna of Panama, one of the most biodiverse places in the world. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner as you prepare for your journey to Boquete the following day.

Day 3
Boquete, Panama
Hotel Panamonte Breakfast

Following breakfast, greeting by your personal host and transfer to the airport for your 35 minute flight to the western highlands of the country, the town of Boquete. Upon arrival, greeting by your personal host and private transfer to your hotel. From there, check in your accommodations and enjoy lunch before you head out on an afternoon visiting a coffee plantation. There, you will receive a personal tour by the owner and learn about how the small farm produced some of Panama’s finest organic coffees, before sampling some of the delicious coffee yourself. Afterwards, private transfer back to your hotel where you may relax in your room’s private outdoor patio.

Day 4
Boquete, Panama

In the morning, head out with your guide for a half day hiking the Quetzal trail in Baru Volcano National Park. This six mile hike in the shadow of the 12,000 foot volcano is renowned for its beauty throughout Central America. As you walk along the picturesque trail, be sure to take advantage of ample opportunities for birdwatching. After the hike, stop for lunch at a local farm on its picturesque terrace to enjoy a delicious meal. Then, continue to back to your hotel to relax in the refreshing highlands of Panama’s Boquete region.

Day 5
San Blas Islands, Panama
Private catamaran Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Following breakfast, greeting by your personal host and private transfer to the airport where you will fly to the San Blas Islands via Panama City. After the 35 minute flight to Panama City, take an additional 30 minute private flight to your remote landing strip located within the San Blas archipelago. You will be met at the landing strip and taken by small dingy to your catamaran. From there, begin your first day winding through these remote islands. Head to Cayos Holandes, one of the most pristine places of the San Blas Archipelago. Your first afternoon, swim and relax on the white sand beaches as you enjoy total tranquility in these remote isles, away from it all. Your first evening, enjoy fresh caught fish from your skilled crew as you relax under the stars.

Day 6
San Blas Islands, Panama
Private catamaran Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

The following day, head out for a morning of exploration. Your highly experienced captain will take you to some of the hidden treasures found in this idyllic archipelago that hosts over 360 islands, and with around 300 of them that are uninhabited, you will truly feel as those you have the islands all to yourself. In the afternoon, your captain and guide share with you opportunities to meet and learn more about the culture of the native Kuna people of the islands. In the early evening, enjoy a champagne/cocktail hour before you witness some of the world’s best stargazing from your spectacularly remote position in the San Blas islands.

Day 7
San Blas Islands, Panama

Your third day in the isles, head to Coco Bandero and spend a morning kayaking or snorkeling between the pristine beaches. Should you like, your guide can demonstrate how to fish for Barracuda. In the afternoon, enjoy another delicious meal prepared with the island’s freshest ingredients from your highly attentive crew. Spend your last afternoon as you wish, with your captain exploring the spectacularly remote islands before you relax with a cocktail and enjoy the sunset of your final night in the pristine archipelago.

Day 8
San Blas Islands, Panama
International Departure Breakfast

From the remote landing strip, you will be assisted with boarding your private flight to Panama City, where you will be greeted by your personal host and assisted with your international departure.

Begin your journey in the dynamic Old Quarter of Panama City. Designated a World Heritage Site in 1997, spend your first days strolling the neighborhood’s quaint, narrow streets and experiencing a VIP tour of the renowned engineering feat that is the Panama Canal. Afterwards, continue to the fertile mountain highlands of Panama and spend two nights in Boquete where you will visit a coffee plantation for some of Central America’s best coffee, and spend a half day completing the beautiful Quetzal hike. During your time in this unique region, you will see some magnificent flora and fauna as well as have excellent opportunities for birdwatching. Afterwards, fly back to Panama City in order to take your private plane to the archipelago of the San Blas Islands, where you will land at a remote landing strip. Spend the coming days relaxing in the archipelago made up mostly uninhabited islands, enjoying cocktail hours from your private catamaran, kayaking and snorkeling in the crystal clear water, and stargazing from your privileged position in the isles. To experience this luxurious escape in this part of the world is find yourself measuring your days with nothing more than the changing tides as you unwind in the beautifully remote San Blas Islands.
