Day 1
Whitehorse, Yukon Territory Canada
Tagish Lake, Yukon Territory Canada
Tagish Lake Wilderness Lodge Dinner

Upon your arrival in Whitehorse you’ll board your ski-plane for the short journey to Tagish Lake Wilderness Lodge. Your expert pilot will land you on the frozen lake directly in front of the lodge, where you’ll get settled and have supper before your first evening of northern lights viewing. Sip a hot drink and wait for the spectacular show, the bright northern lights are well worth the wait. Accommodations are at Tagish Lake Wilderness Lodge.

Day 2
Tagish Lake, Yukon Territory Canada
Tagish Lake Wilderness Lodge Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack

This morning set out on a guided adventure around the lodge. Snowshoe, snowmobile or even try your hand at ice-fishing. There are endless winter activities to choose from, and the choice is yours. In the afternoon, a team of sled dogs will arrive for an afternoon dogsledding lesson. Learn about the sport of dogsledding from a professional musher and get a feel for commanding your own team of dogs in preparation for tomorrow’s journey. Accommodations are at Tagish Lake Wilderness Lodge.

Day 3
Tagish Lake, Yukon Territory Canada
Southern Lakes, Yukon Territory Canada
Southern Lakes Resort Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack

Enjoy a leisurely morning before your departure today. Late morning your team of dogs will arrive, excited for the journey ahead. Mushing your dogs across frozen lakes and barren tundra, commuting can’t get more Canadian than this! Continuing to Southern Lakes Resort with a brief stop for lunch, you’ll arrive at your next wilderness lodge in the late afternoon. Enjoy some free time to get acquainted with your new surroundings before dinner, and another evening of lights viewing. Accommodations are at Southern Lakes Resort.

Day 4
Southern Lakes, Yukon Territory Canada
Southern Lakes Resort Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack

Today explore the surrounding Southern Lakes region with a naturalist guide as you snowshoe through the scenic and snowy terrain. Learning about flora, fauna and wildlife native to the area, you’ll stop for a cozy campfire before returning to Southern Lakes Resort. Another evening of aurora viewing lies ahead, on an unguided and flexible schedule. Accommodations are at Southern Lakes Resort.

Day 5
Southern Lakes, Yukon Territory Canada
Whitehorse, Yukon Territory Canada
None Breakfast

After a hearty breakfast you’ll have some free time before the arrival of your ski-plane. Hike or snowshoe the surrounding Southern Lakes region, taking in your final moments of vast and stunning tundra scenery. Your pilot will safely deliver you from Southern Lakes Resort to Whitehorse, where you’ll board your flight(s) home. Safe travels!

Description

Roughly the same size as Spain with a population of 37,000 (23,000 of which reside in the capital city of Whitehorse), the Yukon is wild, remote and sparsely populated. This northern Canadian gem offers what we believe is some of the best aurora borealis viewing in the world. Marvel at the bright colors dancing across the night sky as you enjoy both guided and self-directed light viewing sessions. Experience authentic Canadian transportation as you command your own dogsled team from one wilderness lodge to the next, across frozen lakes and wide open tundra.

Perfect Alaska Itinerary

By: Jeff52

Reviewed on: 02 Sep 2014

Entrée Alaska put together the perfect week long Alaska trip for my brother and me. Everything was taken care of and it was a stress free experience. Each activity was exactly what we wanted to do and perfectly planned out. I still can’t believe we got to see Denali national park, fish for silver salmon, hike on a tundra, race Iditarod dogs, and have a helicopter tour of Prince William Sound all in six days. When our kayaking tour had to be cancelled last minute by a supplier, because of dangerous glacier conditions, we were contacted immediately. Entrée Alaska booked the helicopter tour for us in replacement, and it ended up being our favorite activity of the trip. Look no further when trying to decide how to put together a great Alaska vacation.

Entree Alaska handled the middle part of a 3 week adventure we just returned from. They handled transferring us from our cruise ship to Winterlake Lodge, then on to Redoubt Bay Lodge, and finally back to Anchorage for our flight out of Alaska. Everything came together very smoothly, we very much appreciated how they made it all so easy!

We booked 6 excursions for a family of 9 at considerable expense. We were told we would have to supply our own car seat for one operator which was very inconvenient No one at Entree or Coastline we’re able to do anything to remediate this. Our excursions were wonderful except for Gastineau Guiding and I would not recommend . The guide was not interesting and they told us a car seat was not required in Alaska.

We had a great experience with Entree. They were very approachable as we designed the trip, answering all questions quickly and completely. They prepared very complete travel documents which ensured that we were prepared. And, they were in touch with the various service providers along the way to make sure our trip went smoothly and answered my questions quickly when they arose during the trip.

Trip to Canada

By: Jim

Reviewed on: 30 Aug 2017

Our experience with Entree Canada was excellent. All of the drivers and cars were very good and the recommended guides were knowledgeable and helpful. They scheduled us on Via Rail Canada from Montreal to Quebec City and the attendants were extremely nice and helpful as were the lady porters. One of our traveling companions lost a hearing aid while on the train and didn't discover it until we reached the hotel, Auberge St. Antoine, who called immediately. The train had departed. Miraculously, the next day Via Rail brought the hearing aid to the hotel. That is really good service. Use Entree Canada if you travel to Canada.

Entree Canada was great. There was a contact at the airport waiting for us to help get the trip started on the right foot. We loved all the guides they recommended for us - they fun and knowledgable, and took us to places both on and off the beaten path. Entree checked in with us during the trip as well to make sure that everything was running smoothly which was a nice touch.
