Experiences have not been selected at this time

We’ve been enjoying every well-trod trail and much-visited town in Provence for decades. On this trip, however, we stray outside the region’s hotspots to show you our favourite hidden gems. Experience Provence’s legendary hospitality in a local chef’s private dining room and be a rare guest at Domain Ruffinatto with one of world’s best sommeliers as your guide. Delight in everything from sumptuous dining experiences to a stay in the 17thC Bastide de Marie, once a fortified farmhouse — with plenty of picturesque pedalling along the way, of course!

This is our 10th Butterfield Trip. It remains the best way to see a region. Nothing beats vigorous activity during the day and luxury at night. Bespoke trips for a large group are cost-effective and totally your own. We loved our guides Denis and Jerome this month in Loire, France. Amazing trip. With B&R you have access to private homes, private experiences, and people and places you would never meet otherwise.
