Morning arrival in Buenos Aires after an international overnight flight. You will be greeted by your host and taken to your luxury hotel in the center of the city. After lunch, enjoy a private guided tour of the main sightseeing attractions of the city, starting in the chic neighborhood of Recoleta where you will visit the ornate Recoleta cemetery and Evita Perón’s final resting place. For dinner we will provide recommendations for one of Buenos Aires’s best restaurants.

Day 2
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires Breakfast

The following day, begin with a private guided tour of the world-famous Teatro Colon. Afterwards, spend the day discovering the city’s southern neighborhood highlights between museums, important historical and cultural sites as well as local shops, galleries and a delicious lunch along the quaint streets of the city’s oldest neighborhood, San Telmo and the home of the birthplace of Tango. In the evening, enjoy an exciting tango show in the modern Puerto Madero neighborhood.

Day 3
Buenos Aires, Argentina
The Vines Resort & Spa Breakfast

Greeting by your host and private transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Mendoza. Upon arrival in Mendoza, You will be greeted by your personal Blue Parallel host and transferred to your luxury resort set in the heart of the wine country facing the Andes. After settling into your accommodations, recuperate from your journey in your private villa, and enjoy a welcome wine tasting on the property.

Day 4
Mendoza, Argentina
The Vines Resort & Spa Breakfast

Greeting by your expert guide and set off on your second day of exploration in the Lujan Valley, where you will spend most of your day visiting wineries. The first stop will be Bodega Melipal, located within the heart of the prime grape growing area of Agrelo, for a private tour and tasting.

Later, visit Bodega Vistalba founded by Carlos Pulenta for a private tour and tasting on the property. The winery is inspired in the Creole culture, resorting to cutting-edge technology and paying homage to traditional winemaking. The entire winemaking process is completed using gravity, and without the use of pumps. After visiting the winery, enjoy a gourmet lunch on the Vistabla property.

Next, visit Finca Libertad of Bodega Benegas for a private tour and wine tasting. Dating back to the end of the 19th century, Bodega Benegas is one of the oldest vineyards in the area and showcases the most traditional methods of wine making. The vineyard boasts a wide variety of vines including: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec but there are also vines of Sangiovese, Syrah, Merlot and Petit Verdot.

Return to your hotel and relax at leisure. In the evening, recommended dinner at 1884, led by head chef Francis Mallman.

Day 5
Mendoza, Argentina

Begin your day with your host as you set off to explore the wineries of the Uco Valley. Your first stop will be the small Gimenz Riili winery, which has an extraordinary view of the Andes Mountain Range. Next, visit the impressive Salentein Winery to enjoy a wine tasting, before enjoying lunch at the open-kitchen of the Andeluna winery as you sample their wines alongside a six course lunch menu. In the afternoon, return to the Vines to and enjoy an afternoon at leisure at your beautiful estate, perhaps enjoying a yoga class or exploring the vineyards on foot.

Day 6
San Vicente, Chile
Vik Chile (formally Vina Vik) Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Fly to Santiago, Chile. Greeting by your personal host and private two-hour drive to Viña Vik in the Chilean Wine country. Drive past rural vineyards, private estates, and the surrounding Andes mountains. Upon arrival at the vineyard, settle in to your accommodations. Afterwards, enjoy a gentle hike through property’s vineyards before dinner on the property and an evening at leisure.

Day 7
San Vicente, Chile
Vik Chile (formally Vina Vik) Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

The next day, explore the expansive estate either by bike or horseback. Visit the onsite vegetable garden and learn about the self-sustaining property with an optional cooking class. Afterwards, enjoy the fruits of your labor with a private gourmet picnic overlooking the vineyards, or the option of a private cooking class. In the afternoon, take a 4x4 through the estate to the architecturally stunning winery for a personal tasting with the head sommelier in the facility. Later, relax in the afternoon with spa treatments.

Day 8
San Vicente, Chile
Vik Chile (formally Vina Vik) Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Travel to nearby Casa Lapostolle in the majestic Colchagua valley for a beautiful picnic lunch. Later tour the property and enjoy a brief tasting with your personal local host and expert sommelier. Learn about Casa Lapostolle’s production, and the inner workings of the operation which produces their award-winning wine. In the evening, return to Viña Vik and enjoy time at leisure or the option to mountain bike around the property’s reservoir.

Day 9
Santiago, Chile
The Ritz-Carlton, Santiago Breakfast

In the morning, with your guide begin a sightseeing tour of Santiago. Highlights include the Plaza de Armas with its 18th century cathedral in the heart of the city, Constitution Plaza with its La Moneda Palace – the seat of executive power, and the Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art, and the attractive neighborhoods of París-Londres and Santa Lucía. Explore the central neighborhoods, such as the bohemian Bellavista, as you learn about this thriving and rapidly-changing metropolis. In the afternoon, go with your guide to the San Cristóbal lookout point which boasts spectacular views of the city and its surrounding mountains before a fantastic final dinner. Afterwards, head with your guide to the airport for your international departure home.

Santiago, Chile
