VIP greeting upon arrival in the cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires after an overnight flight. With its vibrant nightlife, European heritage, historic architecture, and creative cultural movements, Buenos Aires is the most visited city on the continent. After settling in to your accommodations, head out on your first sightseeing tour of the city and explore the aristocratic neighborhood of Recoleta home to the opulent Recoleta Cemetery, Plaza Francia and the Fine Arts Museum, all walking distance from your hotel. You will also have the opportunity to visit nearby galleries and shops which are sprinkled through the neighborhood.

Day 2
Buenos Aires, Argentina

Begin the day with a private guided tour of the world-famous Teatro Colon before heading out to explore the southern neighborhoods of Buenos Aires with your personal guide. Visit the historic Plaza de Mayo anchored by the presidential palace known as the Casa Rosada. Continue on to San Telmo, the city’s oldest neighborhood and the birthplace of tango and stroll through its cobbled stoned streets while browsing quirky antique shops or, sit and enjoy a coffee in Plaza Dorrego. Head to Pulpería Quilapán, a combination of tavern, general store, and guesthouse that served as a gaucho institution from the early 20th century onward in Argentina, where you can enjoy coffee in the outdoor courtyard. Later, take a private tango class with a professional dancer in a dance hall nearby. In the evening, dine at one of the city's best restaurants before witnessing the exciting Rojo Tango Show or a local milgona (a tango dancehall).

Day 3
Bariloche, Argentina
Llao Llao Hotel & Resort Breakfast

Non-stop flight to Bariloche where your personal host will greet you and escort you to your luxury accommodations set in the heart of Argentina's Lake District. In the afternoon of your first day, explore the Llao Llao Peninsula on a gentle hike through the Cohihue forest to a lookout point with beautiful views of the surrounding lakes and forests.

Day 4

Enjoy a private boating excursion on the magnificent Lake Nahuel Huapi to Victoria Island located in the middle of the lake where you will hike up to a viewpoint with your expert guide before experiencing a delicious gourmet picnic just for your party with fine glassware and a proper table prepared by the excellent head chef of Cassis. Delight in the Argentine Lake District's finest wines paired with exceptionally prepared cuisine as you take in the spectacular natural outdoor setting around you.

Day 5
Bariloche, Argentina
Llao Llao Hotel & Resort Breakfast, Lunch

Private transfer to López Bay, a beautiful area along the shores of the Lake Nahuel Huapi where you will begin your hiking excursion accompanied by your expert guide. Head up the peaks to the Los Palotinos, a spectacular look-out point over the Tristeza arm of the Lake Nahuel Huapi, where you will have panoramic views of the area. From there you will ascend the mountain stopping at different levels to observe the unique views. Later you will head down to a secluded area by rappelling (optional) over a boulder, where you will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch with a view of the lake and the surrounding peaks. Alternatively, you can walk along an easy path to reach the picnic area. After lunch, descend down the mountain to the shore where you will return to the dock of your hotel on kayak.

Blue Parallel can arrange for alternative activities according to your particular interests, including fly-fishing on the Limay River, or horseback riding to a private, spectacular ranch, mountain biking through the forest trails, and much more.

Day 6
El Calafate, Argentina
Eolo Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Fly to El Calafate in Southern Argentine Patagonia. Your host will greet you and escort you by private transfer across the Patagonian steppe to the luxurious Eolo Lodge. Along the way, enjoy a private guided visit of the innovative Glaciarium Museum to learn about the glaciers and the national park’s preservation efforts. Your smartly designed property is located in the heart of the Anita Valley, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and where wildlife can be seen in their natural habitat. On your first afternoon, explore this beautiful valley on one of the many outdoor activities that can be arranged including trekking, mountain biking and horseback riding through unique trails within the surrounding region.

Day 7
El Calafate, Argentina
Eolo Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Private transfer to the Glaciers National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and frozen wonderland of startlingly white and piercing blue ice encircled by snow-capped misty mountains. After a short boat ride across the bay, experience an ice-trekking excursion on the majestic Perito Moreno glacier crossing towering ice peaks, huge crevasses, turquoise blue creeks and icy lagoons with a specialized guide (you have the option to enjoy this excursion in private upon request). Later, after a picnic lunch facing the glacier, visit the spectacular catwalks and balconies offering breathtaking views of the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Day 8
Perito Moreno, Argentina
Don Los Cerros Boutique Hotel & Spa Breakfast, Lunch

Following check out, private 4x4 transfer to El Chalten in Patagonian high country, a hiking town located in the shadows of Mount Fitz Roy (approx. 2 hours). Upon arrival, leave your belongings at your hotel and head out on your first hike with your personal expert guide to Cerro Torre within the Glaciares National Park. During the hike, you will witness unique views of Mt. Solo, Adela’s Range and the stunning Mt. Torre. Following a picnic lunch, continue for approx. 2 hours through grand lenga forests, crossing old glacial moraines and wet plains formed by the previous courses of the river until arriving at Laguna Torre. During this section of the trek, you may spot a wide range of birds, including the Magellanic woodpecker.

At Laguna Torre it is usual to see huge icebergs which have detached from the Torre glacier face. There are various paths over the glacial moraine, which allow you to visit other viewpoints; like the Maestri viewpoint. Return to El Chalten in the afternoon. On the way back to your hotel stop for a coffee and chocolate at La Chocolateria Josh Aike in town.

Day 9
Perito Moreno, Argentina
Don Los Cerros Boutique Hotel & Spa Breakfast, Lunch

You will be greeted by your personal guide and taken by private transfer to a small refugio (approx. 30 min transfer) where you will begin the beautiful 2-hour hike through Los Glaciares National Park. As you wind your way through the beech woods and lenga forests, you will come upon your first views of Mt. Fitz Roy. As the path begins to clear and the views more impressive, you will reach a campsite for a quick break. Later, continue on a strenuous 1-hour ascent to Laguna de los Tres which offers outstanding panoramic views Mt. Fitz Roy, its surrounding massifs, glaciers, and Laguna de los Tres.

For lunch, return down the mountain to a private campsite for your gourmet picnic with sweeping views of the majestic Fitz Roy Range (approx. 45 minute descent)

Afterwards, begin your 3-hr decent back to El Chalten where you will pass by the stunning Laguna Capri and numerous panoramas as you hike down beside high cliffs before arriving at the Vueltas River. Upon exiting the trail in El Chalten town, you will be accompanied on foot back to your hotel (10-minute walk).

Enjoy the remainder of your evening at leisure. We recommend dining in town on your last night.

Day 10
Buenos Aires, Argentina
None Breakfast, Lunch

Private 2-hour transfer back to El Calfate where you will be assisted with boarding your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival at the domestic airport, greeting and private transfer to the international airport in time for check-in assistance for your international flight home.
