Welcome to Juneau, Alaska! Upon arrival at the Juneau Airport you will be met by your private driver and transported to your hotel. Once you get settled, explore downtown Juneau on your own. We’re happy to make dinner reservations or provide restaurant recommendations. Accommodations are at the Jorgenson House.

Day 2

Today begins with a quintessential Alaskan adventure – dogsledding! Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and deliver you to a helipad, where you board your helicopter to the icefields. Waiting for you are a team of huskies, who will pull you across the vast icy landscape. The afternoon promises more adventure with a fly-out fly-fishing excursion to remote lakes and rivers. Accommodations are at the Jorgenson House.

Day 3

Lodge at Whale Pass Lunch, Dinner

Today you will be met by your driver at your hotel for your transfer to the Juneau International Airport, where you’ll catch a commercial flight to Ketchikan (cost of the flight not included in price), and then a charter seaplane flight to Lodge at Whale Pass. Once you’re settled in, explore one of Southeast Alaska’s finest fishing and adventure lodges. Accommodations are at the Lodge at Whale Pass.

Day 4

Lodge at Whale Pass Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack

Enjoy daily fishing excursions around Prince of Wales Island with your captains, venturing out on 29 foot ‘Sports Utility Boats’ complete with heated cabins, bathrooms, and berths to enjoy a nap in between catches. Accommodations are at the Lodge at Whale Pass.

Day 5

Prince of Wales Island offers numerous rivers, lakes and streams for freshwater and saltwater fishing. You’ll be able to cast a line for Halibut, Silver Salmon, Rockfish, Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout. Accommodations are at the Lodge at Whale Pass.

Day 6

Today is up to you. Enjoy guided or self-guided activities that form the building blocks of your own, unique experience, including kayaking, saltwater fishing, hiking, caving, freshwater fishing, wildlife safaris, whale watching cruises, and glacier visits.

Day 7

Lodge at Whale Pass Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack

Today is a day-long adventure, cruising to LeConte Glacier where you’ll have the opportunity to paddle among the icebergs. While kayaking among the icebergs and harbor seals, don’t forget to look up at the 3,000-foot rock walls and snow-capped granite mountains that surround the Bay. You’ll return to the lodge via floatplane, on a sightseeing trip that’s an adventure in its own right. Accommodations are at the Lodge at Whale Pass.

Day 8
Prince of Wales Island, AK United States
Ketchikan, AK United States
None Breakfast

After breakfast and a final paddle around the island, you’ll board your charter seaplane to Ketchikan. From there you’ll catch your commercial flight to Juneau (cost of flight not included in price) and head home. Safe travels!

At the Lodge at Whale Pass, you’ll cast a line for multiple species of Salmon, as well as Halibut, Rockfish, Steelhead and Rainbow trout.
