Your guide and driver will take you through the postcard-perfect region, through the land of hills and castles, small churches and charming villages. You will enjoy wine tasting at two of the most renowned wineries of the region. Your hosts will take you around their estates and you will get a chance to taste their award-winning wines. The largest share of vineyards is planted with the autochthonous Brda sort of Rebula, then Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignonasse.
You will continue to the quaint village of Zemono to enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the best restaurants in the country – Pri Lojzetu. Situated in the 17th century Zemono Castle in Vipava region, the restaurant offers a true insight into sky-high levels of Slovenia art of food and wine making. The restaurant’s chef and the best chef in Slovenia, Mr. Tomaz Kavcic, will treat you with a special dining experience of his unique creative cuisine.
You will end your tour in Piran, a picturesque town on the Adriatic coast. Piran boasts the country’s finest square, the 19th century Tartini Square, named after the composer Giuseppe Tartini, as well as one of the most impressive churches in Slovenia, St George’s Cathedral. You will enjoy a walk with your guide through this tiny town that resembles and open-air museum before your driver takes you back to your hotel.
