Upon arrival at Sydney Airport you will be met and privately transferred to the Park Hyatt Sydney. Seated majestically on one of the world’s most beautiful harbours, Park Hyatt Sydney perfectly personifies contemporary harbourside luxury with its coveted location between the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The hotel's spacious rooms feature contemporary interiors, modern bathrooms with dual vanity, wet area, rainshower, deep bathtub and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to private balconies.

This afternoon you will have at leisure to get acquainted with the harbour city of Sydney.

Day 2

First up this morning will be a fantastic tour around Sydney. You’re going to be hard-pressed to find a better way to experience Sydney. A full-day tour with the ultimate Sydney experiences from every angle.

Start with an early-morning Backstage Tour of the beloved Sydney Opera House. Walk the boards of the Concert Hall, take up the Conductor’s baton in the Orchestra Pit and have breakfast in the Green Room.

From here, a private, guided tour hits the city’s most picturesque and fascinating spots, taking you to the glitzy Eastern Suburbs where you’ll hop on a seaplane for a spectacular flight to see Sydney from above. Step from your seaplane to a private luxury cruiser for a 2 hour Harbour Cruise, including a fabulous seafood lunch – bring your towel for a swim!

Your launch then drops you at Taronga Zoo for your behind-the-scenes, Zookeeper-led tour of this picturesque Zoo. Return by ferry at your leisure. Now that’s a classic Sydney day!

Day 3

This morning you will be met at the Park Hyatt Sydney and privately transferred to Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley by private vehicle transfer. Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley is an ultra-luxury conservation-based resort, located approximately 2.5 hours’ drive from Sydney in the World Heritage-listed Greater Blue Mountains region. Set on 7,000 acres of carbon-neutral conservation and wildlife reserve, the resort combines absolute luxury with a quintessentially Australian bush experience.

The resort features 40 elegantly appointed suites reminiscent of the Federation period, each with its own swimming pool, double-sided fireplace and private veranda with stunning valley views.

The Main Homestead features various dining settings including the magnificent Wolgan Dining Room with panoramic views; The Country Kitchen, a providore-style casual restaurant; the Valley Bar & Terrace; a walk-in wine cellar with over 150 carefully selected wines and the Creekside Room, a private dining area for up to 12 guests.

Offering ultimate relaxation is the resort’s One&Only Spa – with an extensive range of exquisite treatments designed to revitalise the mind, body and soul the spa incorporates specialised techniques from Australia’s own Sodashi skin care range to offer a unique and enriching experience.

Day 4

Home to a unique range of native wildlife and flora, with an ancient geological heritage, guests can enjoy a range of guided tours and exciting activities. Discover the countryside on horseback, tour by 4WD vehicle, mountain bike through the valley or simply gaze at a canopy of stars in the stillness of the night.

With so many unique experiences to choose from, the resort’s knowledgeable and experienced Field Guides are happy to recommend activities and experiences to inspire a love for Australia’s great outdoors.

There are three tiers of activities available:


Group experiences shared with other guests and included in all full-board accommodation packages (up to two activities per day).


Signature experiences shared with other guests and scheduled daily (at an additional cost).


Exclusive experiences tailored to your preference, hosted by your personal Field Guide and scheduled on request (at an additional cost).

Day 5

Continue to enjoy the selected activities on offer while staying at Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley or perhaps choose from one of the optional activities at an additional cost.

Day 6
Orpheus Island

After breakfast transfer to the Sydney Airport for the scheduled flight to Townsville (not included) and connect with helicopter flight to Orpheus Island (included).

Located amidst the magical waters of the Great Barrier Reef, Orpheus is a secluded island hideaway accommodating just 28 indulged guests at any one time. Access is either via a 30 minute helicopter journey from Townsville, or a 1.5 hour journey from Cairns. Orpheus showcases a plethora of once in a lifetime experiences! Its principal dive sites boast 1,100 of the 1,500 species of fish on the reef; the local waters are a fisherman's playground and home to the most sought after reef fish species in the world; and guests can take the helm of a motorised dingy complete with gourmet picnic hamper and discover the many pristine coves and reefs that fringe Orpheus.

Alternatively, Orpheus provides the perfect backdrop for a more private interlude if guests wish to simply relax and succumb to a unique indigenous-inspired treatment at the Gwandalan Day Spa. Accommodation rates include all gourmet meals, celebrating a bounty of locally-sourced and freshly grown and caught seasonal delights, a selection of Australian wines and beers, a daily Orpheus experience (snorkelling, fishing, island cruises).

Lastly relax at Orpheus Island a secluded island hideaway, located amidst the magical waters of the Great Barrier Reef.

This itinerary can be taken all year round; however we recommend speaking with your Travel Designer as seasonal considerations may apply eg from December to March is the wet season in Tropical North Queensland, when you are likely to experience high humidity and rain, particularly in the months of February and March. Please note that Orpheus Island is closed from 30th January to 5th March 2017.

Blair Allsopp was a tremendous guide through Brisbane... went the extra mile in finding school husband's father spent 2 years in during WWIII Qualia resort on Hamilton Is was fab resort Only complaint-- had my departure wrong in their written agenda. Compared it to travel agent's booking and caught the discrepancy. Would have missed plane back to the states !
