Take time to unpack and freshen up, before heading out in the afternoon to explore some of Katmandu’s favorite sights, including the temples, courtyards and monuments of the famous Durbar Square, as well as the 2,000-year-old Swayambhunath Stupa overlooking the valleys just outside of town. If you still have energy left, hop on a traditional rickshaw (tricycle) for a quick tour of Thamel, a tourist haven full of dining and shopping options. Return to the hotel for your first night in Kathmandu.

Climb aboard your Royal Enfield Bullet, riding out of the city along a spectacular valley route. The first stop of the day is the impressive Manakamana temple, with the onwards ride passing over bridges, along rivers, across terraced plantations and through remote mountain villages. Just before you reach the day’s final destination of Pokhara, you are greeted with some stunning views of the Annapurna Mountain range including the famous Fish Tail Mountain. Upon arrival in the town – which is perched nearly 3,000 feet above sea level – find your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring at your own leisure.

A morning excursion on the bikes heads out of Pokhara to Sarangkot, a particularly popular spot to catch the sunrise over the Himalayas. The 45-minute drive takes you up to altitudes pushing 6,000 feet, with the panoramas at the top stretching to some of the highest peaks in the entire country. Head back to the hotel for breakfast, with the rest of the day free to explore the nearby lakeside bazaar and quaint town center at your own leisure. You could also choose one of the optional day excursions available, such as boating on Phewa Lake, or for the more adventurous, paragliding, bungy jumping, ultra-light flying or zip-lining.

A good portion of the week's driving is set aside for the next two days, with this fourth day covering a 100-mile stretch through the Himalayas. Start by retracing part of the route back to Kathmandu on your Royal Enfield until turning off at Mugling, eventually reaching your resort in Chitwan around lunch time. Meaning ‘heart of the jungle’ in local tongue, afternoon activities take you around the surrounding National Park, with the highlight being an elephant trek through the forest. Back to base, take a well-earned rest with dinner and overnight at the resort.

Another long and rewarding drive is in store today, with approximately six hours of driving through the Himalayas taking you to Dhulikhel, not too far from your original starting point of Kathmandu. Much of the route retraces the same path back to Mugling via Narayangarh, with plenty of opportunity to stop off along the way to take in that spectacular scenery. Roll up to the resort in Dhulikhel in the latter part of the day for dinner and an overnight stay.

Get your fill at breakfast before hitting the road one last time for the final leg of this road trip. The scenic route is relatively short – just one hour of driving in total – which means you’ll be back in the capital with plenty of time for some final visits or shopping at your own leisure. Enjoy a farewell dinner and overnight stay in a central Kathmandu hotel.
On this final day, there should be time for some last-minute visits in the morning before checking out. Private transportation is on standby to take you to the international airport of Kathmandu, ready to catch a flight to your next destination of choice.
