Day 1
Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Arrive on the island of Java and explore the lively city of Yogyakarta on your own for the day. Consider making a trip to the outskirts of town to marvel at Borobudur, a 9th century Buddhist complex considered to be the largest Buddhist structure in the world. A famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, the ancient temple is sure to amaze and astound travellers with its unique architectural style, historical significance and beautiful volcanic backdrop. After, head back into town and check in at your hotel. We recommend staying at the luxurious Amanjiwo Hotel.


Day 2
Yogyakarta, Indonesia

After breakfast, see Yogyakarta at your leisure for the day. We suggest visiting Prambanan, a complex made up of ornate and intricate Hindu temples. Built in the 10th century, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is still intact and adorned with art and murals depicting Hindu gods. Here, you can take a stroll through timeworn pathways and feel yourself go back through the ages as you experience ancient Indonesian history and culture.

Today, you’ll enjoy one last day in Yogyakarta. We recommend visiting one of Yogyakarta’s numerous bustling traditional markets for an unforgettable shopping experience. Take a stroll past endless aisles of vendors and shop for fresh produce, exotic spices, local handicrafts, clothing and more at Pasar Beringharjo, Pasar Kranggan or Pasar Klithikan Pakuncen.

Sulawesi, Indonesia

This morning, step into your elegant private plane and enjoy a scenic flight to the fascinating island of Borneo. You’ll arrive in Pangkalan Bun, a charming town that sits on the beautiful Arut River. From there, you’ll make your way to Camp Leakey, a renowned orangutan research and rehabilitation center. Here, you’ll take a tour of the camp and have a chance to witness exotic orangutans in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, depart from Borneo and fly to Makassar on the island of Sulawesi.

Makassar, Indonesia

Wake up in Makassar and enjoy exploring the lively city on your own for the day. We suggest journeying to Old Gowa to see the remains of the ancient Kingdom of Gowa. Here, you’ll have the chance to walk through the former royal residence known as the Museum Balla Lompoa, which houses a variety of regal artifacts. You’ll also get to see the impressive wooden Bugis-style palace and tour an ancient tomb compound.


Day 6
Tana Toraja, Indonesia
Toraja Heritage Hotel Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, board your personal jet and head to Tana Toraja, a highland region on the island of Sulawesi. Famous for its stunning scenery, Tana Toraja will take your breath away with its bamboo forests, misty mountains and lush rice fields. In the afternoon, trek to Kete Kesu, a traditional village famous for its fascination with death. Here, you’ll witness a sacred funeral ceremony, hanging graves and embellished burial sites.

KOMODO ISLAND, Indonesia

Begin the day by flying to Labuan Bajo and continue to Komodo Island by speedboat. After a scenic river ride, you’ll arrive at Komodo National Park and enjoy a guided tour with a knowledgeable park ranger. Here, you’ll get up-close and personal with the dangerous Komodo dragon and even venture to their secret lairs. In the afternoon, leave the park and fly to Ubud, where you will stay the night. We recommend checking in at the elegant COMO Shambhala Estate.

Today, you’ll have the chance to explore Ubud on your own. We suggest visiting the Puri Saren Agung, also known as the Water Palace. Here, you can take a stroll through lavish temples adorned with gold décor and intricate statues. The palace was home to kings until the 1940s and some royal descendants still live there to this day.

Enjoy another day at your leisure in Ubud. Consider journeying to the exciting Elephant Cave known as Goa Gajah. Built in the ninth century, the cave is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular destination for travellers. Here, you can walk through an opening shaped like a demon’s mouth. From there, you can trek deep inside and discover timeworn statues, Buddhist remnants, waterfalls and more.


Day 10
Ubud, Indonesia

Finish your amazing adventure off with one final free day in Ubud. We suggest a bicycle tour to discover the gorgeous Indonesian countryside. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to visit rich bamboo forests, lush rice paddies and traditional villages. After, we say farewell, and are more than happy to assist you with your next travel arrangements. In the afternoon, head to Ngurah Rai International Airport and check in for your flight home or to your next exciting travel destination.
