Itinerary

Day 1
Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Arrive in the historic city of Yogyakarta and enjoy the day at your leisure. We suggest venturing to the outskirts of town to discover Borobudur, a stunning Buddhist temple complex dating back to the ninth century. A famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, Borobudur will take your breath away with its elaborate décor, complex architectural design and beautiful volcanic backdrop. After, head back to Yogyakarta and check in to your hotel. We suggest staying at the luxurious Amanjiwo Hotel.


Day 2
Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Today, you’ll have another opportunity to explore Yogyakarta on your own. We recommend journeying to Prambanan, a series of breathtaking Hindu temples and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temples were built in the 10th-century and are still in incredible condition today. Here, you’ll take a stroll through ancient pathways and see elaborate murals depicting Hindu divinities.


Day 3
Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Spend your final day in Yogyakarta at your leisure. Consider visiting the Kraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat, the Sultan’s elaborate palace. Here, you’ll have the chance to trek through the Main Court, an area home to glistening gold artefacts. In the afternoon, we suggest discovering one of Yogyakarta’s numerous lively markets for a shopping experience you won’t forget. Head to Pasar Beringharjo, Pasar Kranggan or Pasar Klithikan Pakuncen for local handicrafts, traditional clothing, fresh spices and mouthwatering fruits and vegetables.

Day 4
Borneo , Indonesia

In the morning, step onto your own private jet and take a scenic flight to the gorgeous island of Borneo. Arrive in Pangkalan Bun, a charming town that rests along the beautiful Arut River. From there, you’ll continue to Camp Leakey, a famous orangutan research and rehabilitation center. In the afternoon, you’ll take a guided tour of the camp and come face-to-face with intriguing orangutans. After, you’ll return to the jet and fly to Makassar.

Day 5
Makassar, Indonesia

After breakfast, feel free to discover Makassar on your own. Consider spoiling yourself with a beach day and traveling to Losari Beach for spectacular snorkeling, crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches. For the adventurous traveller, we recommend heading to the untouched island of Pulau Samalona for an exciting afternoon of scuba diving. Here, you’ll admire vibrant coral reefs and exotic schools of fish under the sea.


Day 6
Tana Toraja, Indonesia

Begin the day by boarding your private jet and flying to Tana Toraja, a highland region located on Sulawesi Island. Here, you’ll be spellbound by an endless array of misty mountains, bamboo groves, and rich green rich paddies. After, you’ll make your way to Kete Kesu, a traditional village known for its fascination with death. In the afternoon, you’ll see an elaborate funeral ceremony followed by a tour of hanging graves and decorative burial sites.


Day 7
Kelor, Indonesia

Depart Tana Toraja first thing in the morning and fly to Labuan Bajo. Here, you’ll board a luxurious cruise ship, which will be home for the next three days. After, set sail to the gorgeous island of Kelor for a relaxing beach day. Once on shore, strap on a snorkel and discover beautiful coral reefs beneath the surface. After, head back to the cruise and indulge in a delicious dinner beneath the stars.


Day 8
KOMODO ISLAND, Indonesia

Arrive in Komodo in the early morning and step foot into the island’s national park. Here, you’ll enjoy a private guided tour of the reserve and have the opportunity to see the frightening Komodo dragon in its natural habitat. You may also be lucky enough to witness the island’s other inhabitants, including wild horses, deer and buffalo.


Day 9
KOMODO ISLAND, Indonesia

Return to Komodo National Park and venture where few have braved to travel. A park ranger will lead you to the secret lairs of the dragons. Here, you’ll witness fascinating dens and nests, while learning more about the famous lizard. In the afternoon, consider hiking up to the stunning Rinca hills for a breathtaking view of endless green jungle and rolling hills.


Day 10
KOMODO ISLAND, Indonesia

On your final day, lift anchor and enjoy one last sail to Labuan Bajo. In the afternoon, we wish you farewell, and are more than happy to assist you with your next travel arrangements.
