Day 1
San Vicente, Chile
Vik Chile (formally Vina Vik) Lunch, Dinner

Please note that the following itinerary is an example, as all of our journeys are custom-made.

International flight arrival in Santiago. Greeting by your personal host and private two-hour drive to Viña Vik in the Chilean Wine country wine country. Drive past rural vineyards, private estates, and the surrounding Andes mountains. Upon arrival at the vineyard, settle in to your accommodations. Afterwards, enjoy a gentle hike through property’s vineyards before dinner and an evening at leisure.

Day 2
San Vicente, Chile
Vik Chile (formally Vina Vik) Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Explore the expansive estate either by bike or horseback. Visit the onsite vegetable garden and learn about the self-sustaining property with an optional cooking class. Afterwards, enjoy the fruits of your labor with a private gourmet picnic overlooking the vineyards. In the afternoon, take a 4x4 through the estate to the architecturally stunning winery for a personal tasting with the head sommelier in the facility. Later, relax in the afternoon with spa treatments.

Day 3
San Vicente, Chile

Greeting by your host and private transfer to Neyen Vineyard in the Colchagua Valley (approx. transfer time: 1h20m). Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your local guide who will take you through the vineyards by vehicle where you will depart on a 5k hike up through the hills until reaching a waterfall and viewpoint over the valley below. Later, return down to the vineyards for the private tour and wine tasting session with a sommelier. Continue to Casa Lapostolle for lunch followed by a tour and tasting of their premium wines. Later, return to Viña Vik where you can enjoy the afternoon at leisure or for those looking to be more active, with an exciting bike ride around Vik's reservoir.

Day 4
Santiago, Chile
Ritz Carlton Santiago Breakfast

Following a leisurely morning, you will be greeted by your host and taken by private transfer back to Santiago. On the way, stop for a tour and tasting of Almaviva winery. Upon arrival in Santiago, enjoy a recommended lunch at Aqui Esta Coco before being assisted with check in at the Ritz Carlton. Before dinner, with your guide head to the San Cristóbal lookout point which boast spectacular views of the city and its surrounding mountains.

Day 5
Santiago, Chile

In the morning, head out on a sightseeing tour of Santiago with your personal guide. Highlights include the Plaza de Armas with its 18th century cathedral in the heart of the city, Constitution Plaza with its La Moneda Palace – the seat of executive power, and the Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art, and the attractive neighborhoods of París-Londres and Santa Lucía. Explore the central neighborhoods, such as the bohemian Bellavista, with your expert guide as you learn about this thriving and rapidly-changing metropolis. In the early evening, enjoy a unique culinary experience at the private kitchen of a local chef who will teach you about Chilean culture through the country's typical dishes.

Day 6
Atacama, Chile
Alto Atacama Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Greeting by your personal host and check-in assistance for your 2-hour flight to Calama, a small city situated on the edge of the Atacama Desert. Marvel at the dramatic open landscape with the backdrop of the Andes bordering Bolivia and Argentina, made up of striking volcanoes perched on the high plateau or “altiplano” under the cloudless sky. Upon arrival at your hotel, you will be welcomed by your personal host and transferred in private to the Alto Atacama, remotely nestled within a ravine and with unobstructed natural views. After you settle in, meet with your personal specialist guide who give you an introduction to the highlights of the area and explain the various excursions planned in private by Blue Parallel. Your dedicated guide will be flexible to mold the daily program according to your preferences. As the sun sets, trek in private to the Valle de la Luna, Atacama´s most famous spot. The iconic “Moon Valley” is a true highlight with its enormous sand dunes and dramatic rock formations. Hike to Tres Marías Lookout, where you will witness an extraordinary sunset with dazzling red and orange hues. Gourmet meal at your lodge in the evening.

Day 7
Atacama, Chile
Alto Atacama Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We recommend a morning visit to the Quitor settlement on mountain bike. During the ride, cycle along paths which wind through the spectacular gorges of the Cordillera de la Sal. Continue to the Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat), named in connection with ancient myths of the local people. End the excursion at the village of San Isidro for a light walk and chance to explore its church. In the afternoon, head to the small village of Tocona, the “Hidden Valley” in Kunza. Visit the church, square, bell tower and local handicraft markets. Continue to the Soncor sector of the National Flamingo Reserve at the Chaxas lagoon. Walk on a 4000 meter circuit to observe the flora and bird life of the area. Enjoy the dramatic sunset unique to the Atacama desert along with delicious appetizers. Return to your lodge in the evening.

Day 8
Atacama, Chile
Alto Atacama Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Leave the hotel before dawn and arrive at the famous geysers at daybreak when the giant field is at its most active sending flumes of steam into the air. A light breakfast will be served. Following breakfast, drive to the Puritama Thermal springs to explore and enjoy champagne as you relax in the springs.

Spend the afternoon at leisure relaxing in the outdoor Jacuzzi and swimming in one of four connected outdoor swimming pools. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and later head out to observe the stars in one of the clearest skies on earth and discover the southern skies while learning about its scientific and ancestral significance.

Day 9
Santiago, Chile
None Breakfast, Lunch

Morning at leisure or with an optional morning activity. Following an early lunch at the lodge, depart by private transfer to the Calama airport for your flight to Santiago. Upon arrival in Santiago, you will be greeted by your personal host who will assist you with check-in for your international flight departure.
