9.00 am: Be met in the lobby of your hotel for a panoramic tour of Paris, which will give you the opportunity to view this beautiful city’s most famous monuments, such as the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre district and Notre Dame. From the Eiffel Tower, the Arrondissements (districts) of Paris radiate before you like spokes on a wheel. Notre Dame's delicate buttresses almost take flight beside the River Seine. You will see the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysees, Montmartre and the Left Bank. Photo stop around the Trocadero, from where you can admire the spectacular Eiffel Tower. Continue on to the charming Montmartre, a hill in the north of Paris, primarily known for the white-domed Basilica of the Sacré Cœur on its summit. Finish the morning at Notre Dame de Paris, often known simply as Notre Dame in English, a Gothic cathedral on the eastern half of the Île de la Cité. Notre Dame is widely considered to be one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture.
Have lunch at leisure.
In the afternoon, continue on to the Palace of Versailles, where you will explore the Château de Versailles with its King’s State Apartments and the glittering Hall of Mirrors which was used by Louis XIV as a council room, and the gardens which where laid out by the great landscape artist, Le Nôtre, who managed to perfect the model of formal French gardens.
