Day 1
Burren, Ireland

Hotel: Dromoland Castle
Meals: None

Arrive Shannon Aiport

Meet your driver guide who will be with you for the rest of the trip (up to 8hours per day). Private transfer to Dromoland Castle. If it’s an early flight you will have time to do some touring around County Clare.

Tour The Cliffs of Moher and The Burren.

Visit the Cliffs of Moher, a sheer precipice 8km long & rising to a height of 203m, one of the most impressive stretches of the coast in the West of Ireland. Then north across the Burren, an eerie, peculiar 193-square mile bare lunar like landscape of a limestone plateau dotted with Stone Age forts & megalithic tombs. In the narrow crevices that criss-cross this pavement flourish orchids, gentians & other rare flora. Hidden sites in the Burren include Cahercommaun Stone fort, The Burren Perfumery, Poulnabrone Dolmen & Ailwee Cave. Visit the falconry centre here.

Day 2
Galway, Ireland

Hotel: Dromoland Castle

Golfing and touring Galway.

Spend the morning golfing either at Dromoland Castle or get transfered to Doonbeg Lodge, one of the finest link courses in Ireland, where you can enjoy a breathtaking scenery matched with distinctive services and facilities.

In the afternoon tour to Galway city, and later come back in time for dinner.

Day 3
Kinsale, Ireland

Tour Blarney Castle and Kinsale.

Visit Blarney Castle, with its’ loquacious stone and famous woollen mills.

Kinsale town's fame was established years ago as a quaint seaside town with delicious restaurants and carefully preserved 18th-century buildings. In the 1960's Heidi McNeice, the wife of the poet, opened the first restaurant here and it rapidly became a magnet for the world's glitterati. In the last decade it has become unquestionably the gourmet capital of Ireland; with music and cinema stars bidding up local real estate values, it is also one of the most expensive.

After Kinsale make your way to Cork and on to your hotel.

Day 4
Kinsale, Ireland

Tour Cork city and Cobh.

Tour around Cork city. You could spend a week exploring the Cork area and still not have seen all the highlights. The bells of Shandon, The English Market, St Finbarre's Cathedral, the Gaol, the Glucksman and Crawford. Galleries are just a few of the highlights of the city.

Later visit Cobh. Housed in restored Victorian railway station, the Cobh Heritage Centre is an entertaining and informative place recounting the journey of over 2.5 million emigrants departed from this port, as well as an exhibition on the Titanic – Cobh was its last port of call.

Day 5
Cashel, Ireland

Tour Cashel and Birr Castle.

Your route will take you past Cashel with its famous Rock, crowned by some of the finest early buildings in Ireland, under which shelters the 18th century, now a hotel. Then go north to visit Birr Castle. Although Birr Castle Demesne is open to the public every day of the year and attracts an average of over fifty thousand visitors annually. The castle itself however, remains a private residence: still the home of the family which originally built it and has lived there ever since for some fourteen generations. Two hundred years ago, this family, called Parsons, inherited the Earldom of Rosse, and the present head of the family living at Birr Castle is Brendan Parsons, Seventh Earl of Rosse and proudly Irish.

Lunch time arrive to Ballyfin Demesne. Set at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains just over an hour from Dublin, Ballyfin has long been admired as the most lavish Regency mansion in Ireland. It is a place of history and romance, of tranquility and great natural beauty.

Activities include boating and fishing on the lake, biking riding, picnics, exploring the 600 acre estate, swimming pool and fitness center, spa treatments, wine and whiskey tasting, and feasting on Chef Cordonniers fine food.

It is the perfect place for a break from the stresses of the modern world and provides discretion and privacy like few other destinations.

Dublin, Ireland

Private transfer to Dublin Airport. Departure from Dublin Airport.
