DAY LOCATION(S) HOTEL MEALS DESCRIPTION
Day 1
Split, Croatia
Vestibul Palace None

Please note that the following itinerary is an example, as all of our journeys are custom-made.

International flight arrival into Split, Croatia’s second-largest city. As you exit the secured area, you will be greeted by your personal guide and taken by private transfer to your hotel located in the heart of the Diocletian’s Palace. Your boutique hotel, with exposed ancient walls from the three adjacent palaces combining Roman, Gothic and Renaissance styles, is the perfect jumping off point for your Dalmatian experience.

After settling in to your accommodations, enjoy a light walking tour through the old city, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The first inhabitant of Split was the Roman emperor Diocletian who began building his palace in around 293 AD. Slowly, the town overgrew the walls of the palace as well as its rulers who ranged from Croatian and Hungarian kings to the Venetian administration and Austro-Hungarian monarchy, each leaving a significant imprint on what is today a buzzing, exuberant city. Explore Split’s living monuments including the Peristyle, the Cathedral of St. Domnius, and the basement hallways of the Palaces.

In the evening, enjoy a delicious meal by the harbor as you admire the dramatic coastal mountains which lay as the perfect back drop to the turquoise waters of the Adriatic.

Day 2
Hvar, Croatia
Adriana Hvar Spa Hotel Breakfast, Snack

Embarkation of your private motor boat and departure on your full day adventure around the Dalmatian Islands. First pass Komiža located on western coast of Vis Island where you will see horseshoe bays and crumbling 17th century townhouses which line the coast and harbors. Continue on to Biševo a tiny islet which boasts hillside vineyards, pine trees and the spectacular Blue Grotto, Modra Špilja. On the way, you will have the option to disembark and continue by sea kayak into the cave with your expert guide. The Grotto is one of the best known natural beauty spots in the Adriatic due to the glowing blue light which illuminates the cave from the suns reflection. Take time to paddle around the cave as you admire the glimmering rocks and water around you.

Return to your boat and continue your exploration of the Dalmatian Islands stopping next at the hidden cove of Stiniva located on Vis. Entry to the spectacular beach is through two limestone cliffs which at their closest point are just 13 feet from each other. With no vehicle access, the cove’s natural beauty has been preserved for posterity and allows for the perfect place to relax amongst the dramatic cliffs and picture-perfect pebbly golden beach. Later, make your way to Stoncica beach characterized by idyllic crystal blue sea and a soft sandy bottom. Following lunch, cruise around the stunning Pakleni Island Archipelago, a series of low-lying emerald green islands abutting from turquoise blue water until arriving in Hvar where you will spend the evening. As you step off your private boat and into your waterfront hotel in Hvar town, let yourself be swept away by the palm-flanked promenade, sleek, sun-kissed yachts and traditional wooden fishing boats bobbing in the turquoise waters within the sophisticated Venetian-built harbor.

Day 3
Hvar, Croatia
Adriana Hvar Spa Hotel Breakfast, Lunch

Venture inland around the island of Hvar on a breathtaking hike along the coast to Milna village which lies in a protective cove surrounded by pine forest. After cooling yourself off with a light swim, continue to the deserted historic stone village of Malo Grablje to meet the only resident and enjoy a traditional Hvarian lunch. Malo Grablje was deserted in the 1960s when its inhabitants moved to Milna in search of better economic opportunities. Today, enjoy time wandering through this beautiful village and quiet lines which have been left untouched adding a real insight into authentic Dalmatia. Later, return to Hvar with your guide and private vehicle, visiting the majestic Španjola Fortress along the way, which rises above the green hills offers views of the red-roofed town and Adriatic.

Day 4
Dubrovnik, Croatia
Villa Dubrovnik Breakfast

Head out into the Adriatic for a morning of island discovery on your private motor boat. Begin with a stop at the island of Korčula, the sixth-largest Adriatic. Rich in vineyards, olive groves and small villages, Korčula was first settled by the Greeks who were drawn to the islands because of its dense woods and quiet coves. Disembark in Korčula town and enjoy a sightseeing tour through this typical medieval walled Dalmatian city. Besides being the birthplace of Marco Polo, the island is also rich in art and culture with age-old religious ceremonies, and folk music as well as arguably the best of all Croatian white wines produced from pošip grapes, native to the island. Following lunch at Lešić Dimitri, return to your private boat and depart south for Orebić on the southern coast of the Pelješac Peninsula.

In the afternoon begin your mountain biking excursion through some of Croatia’s largest vineyards, winding along the coast on country roads with spectacular views of the islands and sea below. Later, continue by private vehicle to the small fortified town of Ston, famous for its oysters known as the best aphrodisiac from the Roman period. Here you will get a unique opportunity to try these delicacies al fresco during a private oyster tasting accompanied with fine local white wine and fresh mussels cooked in a private estate. End the day in Dubrovnik where you will enjoy the remainder of the evening at your leisure.

Day 5
Dubrovnik, Croatia
Villa Dubrovnik Breakfast

Depart from the stone shore of your hotel on a private sea kayaking excursion to explore the caves of Lokrum Island and acquaint yourself with Dubrovnik from the seaside as you paddle beneath the old city walls. After lunch and time at leisure, your expert guide will then take you into this beautiful city, known as the Pearl of the Adriatic. An important Mediterranean sea power since the 13th century, Dubrovnik creates a sense of awe in its visitors due to the sheer beauty of the old town, a mix of striking Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains. Let yourself become inspired as you walk along the ancient city walls which have protected a civilized, sophisticated republic for centuries, and look over the endless shimmer of the Adriatic.

Day 6
Sveti Stefan, Montenegro
Aman Sveti Stefan Breakfast, Snack

In the morning, depart for Montenegro. Here you will have the option to enter the country by car or exclusively by private motor boat into Perast located in the fjord-like Bay of Kotor, Montenegro, a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its historical importance during the Middle Ages and the dramatic coastal mountain range which welcomes you as you enter the bay. Aman, a name synonymous with unparalleled service and intimate experiences in unique settings, recently restored the entire medieval village into a first-class luxury hotel. During your time here, you will stay at the stately stone manse known as Villa Miločer – once the summer residence of Queen Marija Karađorđević – which lies on a 32-hectare seaside estate graced with ancient cedar and pine forests. Upon arrival in the late afternoon, enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure as you take in your spectacular surroundings.
