Upon arrival at Sydney Airport you will be met and privately transferred to the Park Hyatt Sydney. Seated majestically in the dress circle to one of the world’s most glittering harbours, Park Hyatt Sydney is located in the historic Rocks district, just five minutes from the central business, cultural and shopping districts of Sydney.

One of a select brand of Park Hyatt hotels known throughout the world for its exceptional design and elegant style, the Park Hyatt Sydney enjoys private balconies with views overlooking Sydney’s spectacular harbour, Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

This afternoon you will have at leisure to get acquainted with the harbour city of Sydney.

Day 2

You’re going to be hard-pressed to find a better way to experience Sydney. A full-day tour with the ultimate Sydney experiences from every angle.

Start with an early-morning Backstage Tour of the beloved Sydney Opera House. Walk the boards of the Concert Hall, take up the Conductor’s baton in the Orchestra Pit and have breakfast in the Green Room.  

From here, a private, guided tour hits the city’s most picturesque and fascinating spots, taking you to the glitzy Eastern Suburbs where you’ll hop on a seaplane for a spectacular flight to see Sydney from above. Step from your seaplane to a private luxury cruiser for a 2 hour Harbour Cruise, including a fabulous seafood lunch – bring your towel for a swim!

Your launch then drops you at Taronga Zoo for your behind-the-scenes, Zookeeper-led tour of this picturesque Zoo. Return by ferry at your leisure. Now that’s a classic Sydney day!

Day 3

This morning you will be met at the Park Hyatt Sydney and privately transferred to Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley by private vehicle transfer. Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley is Australia’s first conservation-led luxury resort. It sits lightly on a private 4,000 acre wildlife reserve, a place of haunting beauty where ancient ranges frame the sublime 26km-long Wolgan Valley.

The original Homestead has been carefully restored by local craftsmen to exude a real sense of colonial times. It features unique spaces in which to enjoy quiet moments with a good book or a drink, or catch up on the events of the day with friends in a luxurious view-filled setting. Forty free-standing luxury suites (each with their own private terrace and swimming pool) have been constructed using cutting-edge technology and carbon-zero initiatives, but fashioned to echo the original heritage and blend seamlessly with the beauty of the terrain.

Personal service is paramount and Field Guides are always on hand to inspire guests on how best to indulge in the truly great outdoors. The elegant One&Only Spa features six double treatment rooms, each with its own Japanese-style soaking tub to complete the experience.

After breakfast transfer to the Sydney Airport for the scheduled flight to Hamilton Island (not included). Upon arrival you will be greeted at the Hamilton Island Airport and transferred by resort staff to qualia.

Situated in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, qualia is nestled in the most pristine and secluded position on the island. It's a truly special place where everything has been meticulously considered to relax the mind yet completely spoil the senses. The resort immerses you in a relaxed atmosphere, offering personalised and intuitive service. qualia’s sun-drenched northern aspect provides the ideal location to appreciate the passing beauty of each day, with a choice of 60 individual pavilions, some incorporating private plunge pools. Or, experience the uncompromising luxury and privacy of the Beach House with its own guest pavilion.

Today indulge in the ‘Reef Discovery Tour’, the ultimate Great Barrier Reef experience with return helicopter flights to the Cruise Whitsunday pontoon located on Hardy Reef. This tour features a 60 minute scenic flight encompassing views of the Whitsunday islands, outer reefs and world famous 'Heart Reef'. The tour also includes 2 hours at the pontoon, complimentary refreshments, snorkelling and coral viewing from the underwater viewing chamber. A great way to experience one of the seven natural Wonders of the World.

An 8 night journey that offers the ultimate luxurious stay in Australia! Beginning at iconic Sydney enjoy a private Sydney Opera House tour and explore the city.  Continue to the Blue Mountains one of Australia’s most accessible World Heritage listed wilderness areas. Lastly relax at qualia, the perfect island resort located at the Whitsundays, within easy access of the famous Great Barrier Reef reached after a short boat or seaplane ride.

This tour is designed for - Solo travellers/couples/small groups and families with children over the age of 16yrs.

qualia is not suited to children under this age, should the itinerary be of interest and you are travelling with a young family please contact one of our Travel Designers as we can substitute qualia with another property to suit a young family.

This itinerary is available for travel all year round. However the best time to travel is from April to November. From December to March is the wet season at qualia, when you are likely to experience high humidity and rain, particularly in the months of February and March.

Blair Allsopp was a tremendous guide through Brisbane... went the extra mile in finding school husband's father spent 2 years in during WWIII Qualia resort on Hamilton Is was fab resort Only complaint-- had my departure wrong in their written agenda. Compared it to travel agent's booking and caught the discrepancy. Would have missed plane back to the states !
