Touch down in Bangkok, one of Southeast Asia’s most influential and fascinating metropolises. Your guide will be waiting to escort you to one of two recommended luxury hotels – The Peninsula Bangkok or The Siam. Spend the evening relaxing in the comforts and exquisite amenities of your hotel, or step outside into the bustling city to take in some of the vibrant lights and bustling nightlife.

After a delicious breakfast, head out for a tour of Bangkok with your private guide and driver. There’s never a dull moment in this city, known in the Thai language as Krung Thep. A vast city with many unique neighborhoods, Bangkok is filled with an enormous variety to stimulate the senses. Some of the most frequented and most interesting stops include Wat Phra Kaew, The Temple of Dawn, and the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. Visit Bangkok’s 200-year-old Chinatown, a crossroad of two cultures. This city provides a fascinating taste of new and old Asia - from ancient temples to massive shopping malls, Bangkok has it all. Enjoy a delicious Thai dinner and a relaxing night at your hotel.

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Board your private jet and take off for Siem Reap, Cambodia in luxury. Check in to one of three recommended luxury hotels – Amansara, Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor, or Park Hyatt – rest and refresh before beginning your sightseeing. Siem Reap’s Angkor temple complex is one of the most coveted destinations for travelers around the world. Siem Reap, Cambodia

Enjoy an early breakfast before heading to the 10th century Banteay Srei Temple, built in honor of the Hindu god Shiva. Next, visit the children at a local orphanage and learn about the positive impact being made by the organization and the challenges they face. Find special mementos to remind you of your Cambodian visit on a bespoke shopping trip to some of the city’s best shopping destinations. This evening, experience something truly special with a private meal arranged on the grounds of Angkor Athvea, a 12th-century Hindu temple just outside Siem Reap.

Day 5
Pakse, Laos

Fly from Siem Reap to Pakse, Laos this morning . Touch down in the country’s third-largest city, and then check in to La Folie Lodge. This former French colony is situated at the confluence of the Mekong and Xe Don rivers and is home to incredible mountain views, ancient temples, and charming French colonial architecture. Spend the afternoon exploring the city and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Take an evening stroll along the mighty Mekong and spend a restful night at your hotel.

Day 6
Pakse, Laos

After a cup of locally sourced coffee with breakfast, see where your brew came from with a tour of a coffee plantation. Explore the Bolaven Plateau and its most famous feature, the Tad Fane Waterfall. Visit Talat Dao Heung Market and bargain for coffees, aromatic spices, dried fish, fresh fruits, and special Lao desserts and treats. Enjoy a traditional meal at one of Pakse’s best restaurants before heading back to your hotel for the night.

Day 7
Luang Prabang, Laos
Amantaka Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today you will be swept off by private jet to Luang Prabang, Laos. Check in to one of two recommended hotels – Amantaka or Hotel De La Paix. Tour through this UNESCO World Heritage city, visiting palaces and monasteries, and be enchanted by a history well-preserved. Head to colorful Tai Lue, the home of famed textiles and weaving techniques. Tour to the top of Mount Phousi for an exquisite view of the sun setting behind a magical cityscape before a lovely dinner of Luang Prabang specialties.

Day 8
Luang Prabang, Laos
Amantaka Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

You will have the unique opportunity to interact with and ride atop an Asian elephant through the lush forests along the Nam Khan River. You will visit an elephant camp that exists in order to provide a safe home for elephants. Learn about the gentle giants from their handlers and go for a ride through the jungle. Ride the giants through the river with a backdrop of tiered waterfalls and verdant forest. Tonight, visit the city’s bustling Hmong Night Market. This is where various hill tribes sell their handmade creations and delicious traditional foods.

Day 9
Hanoi, Vietnam

After breakfast, board your jet once again and fly to Vietnam. Touch down in historic Hanoi. This fascinating city has more than 1,000 years of rich history. Today, get a feel for the city by touring its Old Quarter. Stroll down the charming, narrow, tree-lined streets with colorful shop-fronts and the bustle of everyday life. Retire to the banks of Hoan Kiem Lake and admire the 17th century Turtle Tower. Check in to the Sofitel Legend Metropole, a turn-of-the-century mansion located next to the Old Quarter. Enjoy a local meal at a nearby restaurant before retiring for some rest.

Enjoy breakfast before a helicopter flight north to Sapa. This beautiful destination is home to a wealth of ethnic minorities and hill tribes. Sapa’s vibrant green hillsides are covered with tiered rice paddies, which make for a stunning and unique view. Check in to the Victoria Hotel before setting out for some sightseeing. Visit the Sapa Cultural Museum and learn about local traditions and customs. Enjoy dinner at Hill Station Restaurant, which features French cuisine.

Tour the sleepy streets of Sapa today and be sure to note the fascinating French-Asian fusion in the architecture, artwork, cuisine, and cultural atmosphere. Take off on a trek to Cat Cat, just one mile outside of Sapa. The area is home to a thriving cottage and merchant industry, the perfect place to find a special souvenir. Take a leisurely evening hike to Heaven’s Gate for a stunning vista overlooking the valley, spotted with terraced rice paddies, hemmed by jagged mountains and lush forests. Return to the hotel for dinner and relaxation.

Today, your journey will take you back to Thailand, but this time you are in for a much different experience. Touch down in Chiang Rai, in the heart of the Golden Triangle, and check in to the unique Four Seasons Tented Camp. Rest and refresh before visiting the Hall of Opium, where you’ll get a glimpse at the history of opium production and its influence on the region. Journey up the “Burma Road” for a adrenaline-pumping drive along the narrow mountain road that straddles the Myanmar - Thailand border. Stop at stunning look out points and take in a Thai sunset as darkness settles over the expansive surrounding countryside.

Visit the picturesque village of Doi Mae Salong, an area whose history is intertwined with strategic military positioning and the opium trade. Enjoy lunch with a local hill tribe family, gaining insight into their traditional lifestyle. Next, take a tour of a tea plantation. Hike through the tea fields and sip on special fresh brews with the owner of one of Thailand’s largest plantations. Enjoy lunch with a prominent member of the Doi Mae Salong community, who will share stories and insights into rural life in this region of Thailand.

Make your way to Mae Kampong today. At 4,265 feet above sea level, the region has a pleasant year-round temperature of 50 to 65 °F. Here you will have the chance to experience the famous Flight of the Gibbon, an elaborate 18-platform zipline course. Travel as the gibbon does through various layers of rainforest canopy. This airborne adventure is sure to be a memorable one. Learn of the Gibbon Project’s efforts to protect the endangered primate species, under threat due to habitat loss. The Remote Lands Guides were excellent. The cars used for transportation were roomy and clean. The hotels were 5 star and their attention to detail was over the top.
