The experience starts with pick up at your hotel in South Bali at 13.00 hrs. Depart with our guide to Semana village where the tented house is set up for the high tea picnic.

Along the way, you will pass through the handicrafts villages of Batubulan and Singapadu where stops can be made at the silver or gold workshops to see the artisans in action.

Arrive in Semana village and take a short scenic trek to the picnic spot on the Ayung river bank where you will be welcomed with a foot bath experience before enjoying a 60 minutes Balinese massage. Next, lay back and relax in the luxurious tent and enjoy your picnic experience with lavish choices of tea, fruit juices, mineral water, chilled white wine and canapés. Wonderful 12 hour tour of Bali

Our guide, 1 Nyoman Sayang, and a driver picked us up from the ship at 8 AM. We toured the entire island. From the north rain forest, Bata Kua Temple, through the rice fields, south to Ulum Dany Beratan where a festival was in progress, to the south where Ulu Watu where we saw a Ketek dance. Made many stops on the journey and were returned to the ship at 10PM. Sayang was a wonderful friendly guide and made sure we were comfortable and included in all activities. This tour was the highlight of our stay in Bali!

The staff who were our drivers with Asia World are by far the most friendly, knowledgeable drivers/tour guides I have ever worked with. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. They were very knowledgeable about the area and were so enthusiastic to share their home with us! They went out of their way to be available for us what seemed like 24/7. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Asia World.

Ubud Bali Tour and Transfer

By: Travel Bug

Travel agent booked a tour with Asia World that would allow us to experience the highlights of Ubud, Bali one one day following our cruise. Our guide, Tribuwana, and driver, Merta, greeted us warmly at the cruise terminal. After loading our bags into the back of the van, Tribuwana told us the day was flexible and while there were planned places to visit, we could spend as much/little time in each place as we wanted and add other places as well. As a result of Tribuwana's suggestions, we visited a Louwek coffee plantation, the rice terraces and the village of Celik where gold and silver jewelry are handmade, in addition to our planned itinerary. Throughout the day, Tribuwana (who spoke perfect English) told us about life in Bali and its culture. He also patiently answered all of my questions and was quite useful in helping negotiate at the Ubud market! Asia World had booked our lunch 'Bridges' - excellent food and terrific view on the terrace. First rate tour at a reasonable price.

Sonnada in Bali was fantastic. He was an incredible host. Even brought water to us while sitting in the uluwatu temple. He made me feel very much at ease, safe and secure in every interaction. I would highly recommend him for any tour. The Lombok guide was kind but but I was disappointed when we declined going off course to a batik vendor and he took us there anyway. One thing that is frustrating overall was how much time is recommended for commuting which is cushioned with time to stop at various vendors and shop. I would prefer to know exact estimates based on current traffic conditions to get places. The more backgrounds and fast routes encouraged.
