VIP greeting upon arrival in the cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires after an overnight flight. With its vibrant nightlife, European heritage, historic architecture, and creative cultural movements, Buenos Aires is the most visited city on the continent. After settling in to your accommodations, head out on your first sightseeing tour of the city and explore the aristocratic neighborhood of Recoleta home to the opulent Recoleta Cemetery, Plaza Francia and the Fine Arts Museum, all walking distance from your hotel. You will also have the opportunity to visit nearby galleries and shops which are sprinkled through the neighborhood.

Day 2
Buenos Aires, Argentina

Begin the day with a private guided tour of the world-famous Teatro Colon before heading out to explore the southern neighborhoods of Buenos Aires with your personal guide. Visit the historic Plaza de Mayo anchored by the presidential palace known as the Casa Rosada. Continue on to San Telmo, the city’s oldest neighborhood and the birthplace of tango and stroll through its cobbled stoned streets while browsing quirky antique shops or, sit and enjoy a coffee in Plaza Dorrego. Head to Pulpería Quilapán, a combination of tavern, general store, and guesthouse that served as a gaucho institution from the early 20th century onward in Argentina, where you can enjoy coffee in the outdoor courtyard. Later, take a private tango class with a professional dancer in a dance hall nearby. In the evening, dine at one of the city's best restaurants before witnessing the exciting Rojo Tango Show or a local milgona (a tango dancehall).

Day 3
Buenos Aires, Argentina

Greeting by your personal host and private transfer to La Aguada, an exclusive ranch owned and operated by the Novillos Astrada brothers (approx. 1hour transfer), known as one of the best polo farms open to guests in Argentina. The polo estancia is a family run estate situated on a 300 hectare farm crossed by streams, with more than 250 horses in training, 5 polo fields and 2 stick & ball fields. This is the land of the highest handicap polo, where visitors can take part in the training and horse care, get started or improve the game abilities with the assistance of international polo players and polo managers team, take private lessons with professional polo players or experience the backstage preparations for the Argentine Polo Open.

Upon arrival, you be given a brief tour of the property by your personal expert guide. Later, you will have the option to participate in a polo clinic with a professional player where you will learn the basics of how to play the game or go horseback riding through La Aguada’s property and surrounding countryside (45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on activity level).

For lunch, enjoy a classic Argentine asado, or BBQ, followed by time to relax by the pool. After your day in the countryside, return to your hotel in Buenos Aires and enjoy the remainder of the evening at your leisure.

Day 4
Iguaçu, Brazil

Greeting by your personal host and private transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguassu Falls. Upon arrival, embark on an excursion to the Argentine side of the falls. Walk on the Argentine catwalks with your personal guide, upper and lower circuits, and experience close-up views of the waterfalls. With 3.2 kms of walkways, the Argentine Catwalks provide a variety of different vantage points from which to view the falls, as well as an opportunity to view the abundance of nature within the national park. You will then board a high-speed zodiac to ride along the powerful falls. This boat trip provides a great adrenaline rush for those wanting to get up close and personal with the powerful falls. Enjoy a recommended lunch at the Sheraton Hotel on the terrace with views of the falls. Later, take a train ride to the most impressive part of the entire area, the awe-inspiring Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s throat), where you will get a close-up view of the spectacular cascading falls. The ‘Garganta del Diablo’ is where 15 cascades come together to create the most impressive and dramatic of all the 275 falls. Upon request, Blue Parallel can arrange for the zodiac and train ride in private. You will then walk along catwalks to a viewing platform where you can observe at close range the sheer power and volume of the water. You will then continue by private transfer to your hotel located on the Brazilian side of the falls. Recommended dinner at your hotel in the evening.

Day 5
Iguaçu, Brazil

Following breakfast, visit the catwalks on the Brazilian side of the falls with your expert guide. You will enjoy the privilege of visiting the catwalks before the park opens up to the public at 9:30 AM. Witness the vast expansiveness of the complex where the tops of the waterfalls meet the blue sky. As you explore the catwalks, you will have the chance to spot the local wildlife including the parrots, monkeys, or armadillos which inhabit the jungle of the national park. Later return to your hotel for a recommended lunch poolside.

In the afternoon, depart on a light hike along the Banana Trail through the Brazilian sub-tropical jungle. Here you will have the opportunity to see unique specimens of flora and fauna native to the region. Pass by small ponds that are filled with small aquatic animals and tropical greenery before you board your speed boat which will take you down the Iguassu River. Stop at the Black Well Trail docks and visit a 30 ft high observation tower that features panoramic views of the forest and of the Lagoa do Jacare (Alligator Pond), where a great diversity of aquatic animals exist. Later, have the option to kayak back down the Iguassu River and glide through the beautiful Bamboo Archipelago. At sunset pass Parrot Island where you will see the flight of thousands of parrots while you head down the river. Disembark and return to your hotel for the evening.

Day 6
Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Greeting by your host and private transfer to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro. On the way to the airport, enjoy a spectacular 10-minute helicopter ride in private over the stunning Iguassu Falls, from where you will get a magnificent birds’-eye view of the entire area.

Upon arrival in Rio, greeting by your personal host and private transfer to the legendary Copacabana Palace. Recommended lunch poolside at your hotel followed by a biking tour to the beaches of Rio de Janeiro with your personal guide. With over 130kms of bike lanes connecting the beautiful bays and beaches of Rio de Janeiro, cycling is one of the most popular ways for visitors to explore the city. From the beaches of Leme to Leblon, this biking tour is ideal for those who wish to enjoy a relaxing bike ride and take in the city’s beautiful scenery. The tour finishes on the beach were you will be able to relax and rest. In the evening, enjoy a recommended dinner at one of Rio's best restaurants depending on your interests.

Day 7
Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Bring sightseeing to a new level with a private helicopter tour over the city, as you admire the beaches, lagoons, and the Sugarloaf Mountain and the Christ the Redeemer statue from above. The more active travelers can also enjoy the option of hiking to the base of the monumental Christ the Redeemer and enjoy it´s breathtaking views over the city. Next, venture into the bohemian hillside Santa Teresa neighborhood with its artistic movements and enjoy lunch with beautiful views of the lush city.

In the evening, enjoy live music and dance with locals at the lively Rio Scenarium. Your host and driver will be at your disposal for the evening transfers

Day 8
Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Enjoy a private guided tour of historical Rio. On this historical tour of Rio, you will learn about the city’s different historical phases by visiting its various landmarks that crowd the center of the city. These include the Old Imperial Palace of 1743 (Paco Imperial), the Theatro Municopal do Rio de Janeiro (from the outside), the 1610 church of Nossa Senhora da Candalaria, and the modern Roman Catholic Cathedral of Sao Sebastiao. You will finish the historical tour at the São Bento Monastery where they maintain the tradition of celebrating mass every Sunday with Gregorian chants. Enjoy lunch in the iconic Confiteria Colombo.

In the afternoon, take a cable-car to the landmark Sugar Loaf mountain which offers incredible views of the city and bay and a beautiful sunset over the Cidade Maravilhosa. Alternatively the more active travelers can hike to the peak of Pedra da Gavea located in the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world.

Day 9
Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Spend your morning at leisure enjoying the beach. In the afternoon, you will be transfered to the airport where your host will assist you with check-in for your international flight departing in the evening.
