Please note that the following itinerary
is an example, as all of our journeys are custom-made. VIP greeting upon
arrival in the cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires after an overnight flight. Greeting by your Blue Parallel personal host who will take you by private transfer to the domestic airport and assist you with check-in for your flight to Iguassu Falls. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your private guide and taken by private transfer across the border and into Brazil. Before arriving at your hotel, enjoy a spectacular 10-minute helicopter ride in private over the stunning Iguassu Falls, from where you will get a magnificent birds’-eye view of the entire area. Continue by transfer to your hotel to enjoy a delicious late lunch at the Ipê Grill by the pool which specializes in Brazilian delicacies. In the afternoon, enjoy time at leisure on the property located within the Iguassu Falls National Park in Brazil.

Day 2

Following breakfast,
visit the catwalks on the Brazilian side of the falls with your expert
guide. You will enjoy the privilege of visiting the catwalks before the
park opens up to the public at 9:30 AM. Witness
the vast expansiveness of the complex where the tops of the waterfalls meet the
blue sky. As you explore the catwalks, you will have the chance to spot the
local wildlife including the parrots, monkeys, or armadillos which inhabit the
jungle of the national park. Later return to your hotel for a recommended lunch poolside. In the
afternoon, depart on a light hike along the Banana Trail through the
Brazilian sub-tropical jungle. Here you will have the opportunity to see unique specimens of flora and fauna native
to the region. Pass by small ponds that are filled with small aquatic animals
and tropical greenery before you board your speed boat which will take you down
the Iguassu River. Stop at the Black Well Trail docks and visit a 30 ft high
observation tower that features panoramic views of the forest and of the Lagoa
do Jacare (Alligator Pond), where a great diversity of aquatic animals exist.
Later, have the option to kayak back down the Iguassu River and glide through
the beautiful Bamboo Archipelago. At sunset pass Parrot Island where you will
see the flight of thousands of parrots while you head down the river. Disembark
and return to your hotel for the evening.

Following breakfast,
you will be taken by private transfer across the border to the Argentine side
of the falls where you will explore the catwalks and the lower circuit trail
that zigzags around the park, and experience close-up views of the waterfalls. With
almost 2 miles of walkways, the catwalks on the Argentine side provide a
variety of different vantage points from which to view the falls, as well as an
opportunity to view the abundance of nature within the national park. Stop for
a recommended lunch at the Sheraton Hotel located within the park with amazing
views of the falls. In the afternoon, a train ride will take you to the most impressive part
of the entire area, the awe-inspiring Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s throat)
where 15 cascades come together to create the most impressive and dramatic cascade
of all the 275 falls. As you disembark from the train walk across the catwalks
to the large waterfall complex for a close-up view of the multiple waterfalls
and feel the power of the water as it cascades down into the river below. A
truly impressive sight! At
the end of the day return by private transfer to your hotel in Brazil. Relax by
the pool or with a rejuvenating spa treatment before dinner.

Morning flight to Buneos Aires. With its vibrant
nightlife, European heritage, historic architecture, and creative cultural
movements, Buenos Aires is the most visited city on the continent. After
settling in to your accommodations, head out on your first sightseeing tour of
the city and explore the aristocratic neighborhood of Recoleta home to the
opulent Recoleta Cemetery, Plaza Francia and the Fine Arts Museum, all walking
distance from your hotel. You will also have the opportunity to visit nearby
galleries and shops which are sprinkled through the neighborhood.

Day 5

Begin the day with a
private guided tour of the world-famous Teatro Colon before heading out to
explore the southern neighborhoods of Buenos Aires with your personal guide.
Visit the historic Plaza de Mayo anchored by the presidential palace known as
the Casa Rosada. Continue on to San Telmo, the city’s oldest neighborhood and
the birthplace of tango and stroll through its cobbled stoned streets while
browsing quirky antique shops or, sit and enjoy a coffee in Plaza Dorrego. Head
to Pulpería Quilapán, a combination of tavern, general store, and guesthouse
that served as a gaucho institution from the early 20th century onward in
Argentina, where you can enjoy coffee in the outdoor courtyard. Later, take a
private tango class with a professional dancer in a dance hall nearby. In the
evening, dine at one of the city's best restaurants before witnessing the
exciting Rojo Tango Show or a local milgona (a
tango dancehall).

Fly to El Calafate in
Southern Argentine Patagonia. Your host will greet you and escort you by
private transfer across the Patagonian steppe to the luxurious Eolo Lodge.
Along the way, enjoy a private guided visit of the innovative Glaciarium Museum
to learn about the glaciers and the national park’s preservation efforts. Your
smartly designed property is located in the heart of the Anita Valley,
surrounded by snow-capped mountains and where wildlife can be seen in their
natural habitat. On your first afternoon, explore this beautiful valley on one
of the many outdoor activities that can be arranged including trekking,
mountain biking and horseback riding through unique trails within the
surrounding region.

Private transfer to
the Glaciers National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and frozen wonderland
of startlingly white and piercing blue ice encircled by snow-capped misty
mountains. After a short boat ride across the bay, experience an ice-trekking
excursion on the majestic Perito Moreno glacier crossing towering ice peaks,
huge crevasses, turquoise blue creeks and icy lagoons with a specialized guide
(you have the option to enjoy this excursion in private upon request). Later,
after a picnic lunch facing the glacier, visit the spectacular catwalks and
balconies offering breathtaking views of the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Day 8

Private transfer to
Puerto Bandera where you will board the boat which takes you on a cruise
towards Upsala Glacier, navigating through icebergs and breathtaking scenery
until arriving at Estancia Cristina. Following a tour of the property, embark
on a 4x4 excursion up the mountains through the forest. You will hike the 30
minute portion of the mountain to the peak for an incredible panoramic view of
the Upsala Glacier. After a picnic lunch, begin your hike in descent from the
top of the mountain, all the way to the estancia. This 4-hour trek downhill
through the forest, surrounded by impressive views, will provide an opportunity
to take in the beautiful Patagonian landscape and witness ancient fossils in
the rock formations along the way (option to do this excursion by 4x4 instead).
Finish the day with a boat ride back to Puerto Bandera where you will be transferred
in private back to your lodge.

Following a morning
at leisure to prepare for check out, greeting by your host and private transfer
to the airport for your return flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival at the
domestic airport, greeting and private transfer to the international airport in
