International arrival into Santiago, Chile. Greeting by your personal host and check-in assistance for your 2-hour flight to Calama, a small city situated on the edge of the Atacama Desert. Marvel at the dramatic open landscape with the backdrop of the Andes bordering Bolivia and Argentina, made up of striking volcanoes perched on the high plateau or “altiplano” under the cloudless sky. Upon arrival at your hotel, you will be welcomed by your personal host and transferred in private to the Alto Atacama, remotely nestled within a ravine and with unobstructed natural views. After you settle in, meet with your personal specialist guide who give you an introduction to the highlights of the area and explain the various excursions planned in private by Blue Parallel. Your dedicated guide will be flexible to mold the daily program according to your preferences. As the sun sets, trek in private to the Valle de la Luna, Atacama´s most famous spot. The iconic “Moon Valley” is a true highlight with its enormous sand dunes and dramatic rock formations. Hike to Tres Marías Lookout, where you will witness an extraordinary sunset with dazzling red and orange hues. Gourmet meal at your lodge in the evening.

Day 2

We recommend a morning visit to the Quitor settlement on mountain bike. During the ride, cycle along paths which wind through the spectacular gorges of the Cordillera de la Sal. Continue to the Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat), named in connection with ancient myths of the local people. End the excursion at the village of San Isidro for a light walk and chance to explore its church. In the afternoon, head to the small village of Tocona, the “Hidden Valley” in Kunza. Visit the church, square, bell tower and local handicraft markets. Continue to the Soncor sector of the National Flamingo Reserve at the Chaxas lagoon. Walk on a 4000 meter circuit to observe the flora and bird life of the area. Enjoy the dramatic sunset unique to the Atacama desert along with delicious appetizers. Return to your lodge in the evening.

Day 3

Leave the hotel before dawn and arrive at the famous geysers at daybreak when the giant field is at its most active sending flumes of steam into the air. A light breakfast will be served. Following breakfast, drive to the Puritama Thermal springs to explore and enjoy champagne as you relax in the springs.

Spend the afternoon at leisure relaxing in the outdoor Jacuzzi and swimming in one of four connected outdoor swimming pools. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and later head out to observe the stars in one of the clearest skies on earth and discover the southern skies while learning about its scientific and ancestral significance.

Day 4

Private transfer to Calama Airport for your flight to Santiago. Spend the afternoon on a private guided tour of the main sightseeing attractions of the city. Your guide will take you up to the San Cristóbal and Santa Lucía lookout points in the lush parkland with spectacular views of the city and its surrounding mountains. Later, tour of some of Santiago’s most renowned museums such as the Fine Arts Museum, the Fashion Museum or the University of Chile’s Contemporary Art Museum. Dine on Chile's noted cuisine in the evening as we will provide the best restaurant recommendations.

Day 5
Torres del Paine National Park, Chile
Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa None

Early morning flight to Punta Arenas. Greeting and private transfer (approx. 4 hours) to Tierra Patagonia located just outside Torres del Paine National Park, one of the most beautiful natural destinations in all of Patagonia. Upon arrival, relax after your journey as you enjoy the property’s many amenities including the infinity pool overlooking the valley and the mountains. After settling in, meet with your personal specialist guide who give you an introduction to the highlights of the area and explain the various excursions planned in private by Blue Parallel. Your dedicated guide will be flexible to mold the daily program according to your preferences. Later, with your expert naturalist guide, enjoy a light walk to Lake Sarmiento facing the property for a brief introduction to the national park, and learn about thrombolites. Gourmet dinner at the lodge.

Day 6
Torres del Paine National Park, Chile
Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

In the morning, depart on a scenic drive to Cuernos (Horns) Loukout Point along with a light trek with your expert guide. After a scenic drive into the park, passing by Nordenskjold and Sarmiento lookout points, arrive at the starting point of this classic Paine Trek. The terrain is fairly flat with only one steeper part, and you can always see the “cuernos” or horns of Paine in front of you. On this moderate hike, you will get a close-up view of the iconic Cuernos de Paine as they monstrously soar into the sky. The path to this spectacular vantage point is gentle and winding and passes by the impressive Salto Grande waterfall; it takes you through some wonderful native vegetation and brushes the shores of the Lago Nordenskojld. Return to your hotel in the early afternoon for lunch.

Later, private transfer to the Cerro Guido Estancia where you will begin your horseback riding excursion to the Mirador del Bosquecito in Cerro Guido. A gaucho will lead you on a trail going uphill, past ancient fallen trunks and through a small forest of lenga and ñirre trees. After about an hour long ride, you will arrive at a plain which is about 600 m (1800 feet) above sea level where you will have a beautiful view of the valley of Cerro Guido, Lago del Toro, Lake Sarmiento, the Paine massif and Cerro Cazador. If it is a clear day, you will be able to see as far as the Great Southern Ice field. In the evening, unwind at your hotel's spa or by the fire with a glass of wine.

Day 7
Torres del Paine National Park, Chile

With your expert guide, private transfer into the heart of Torres del Paine National Park where you will begin your hike to the Base of the Torres (19km/12 mile), enjoying the stunning views along the way. This world famous 10-hour hike demands stamina but provides close up views of the Torres del Paine that are as breathtaking as they are unforgettable. This strenuous, and at times tough, hike follows the Rio Ascencio before heading up a small side valley that places you at the world famous glacial lake Morrena Acarreo. The views of the Torres Del Paine from this vantage point are quite extraordinary. A boxed lunch will be provided along the way. Return to your hotel in the afternoon in time for a rejuvinating and rewarding spa treatments at your hotel's spa over looking Torres del Paine. Gourmet dinner at your hotel.

Day 8

Private transfer to Punta Arenas (approx 4 hours) for your return flight to Santiago. Upon arrival, greeting by your personal host and check-in assistance for your international flight home.
