VIP greeting upon arrival in the cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires after an overnight flight. With its vibrant nightlife, European heritage, historic architecture, and creative cultural movements, Buenos Aires is the most visited city on the continent. After settling in to your accommodations, head out on your first sightseeing tour of the city and explore the aristocratic neighborhood of Recoleta home to the opulent Recoleta Cemetery, Plaza Francia and the Fine Arts Museum, all walking distance from your hotel. You will also have the opportunity to visit nearby galleries and shops which are sprinkled through the neighborhood.

Day 2

Begin the day with a private guided tour of the world-famous Teatro Colon before heading out to explore the southern neighborhoods of Buenos Aires with your personal guide. Visit the historic Plaza de Mayo anchored by the presidential palace known as the Casa Rosada. Continue on to San Telmo, the city’s oldest neighborhood and the birthplace of tango and stroll through its cobbled stoned streets while browsing quirky antique shops or, sit and enjoy a coffee in Plaza Dorrego. Head to Pulpería Quilapán, a combination of tavern, general store, and guesthouse that served as a gaucho institution from the early 20th century onward in Argentina, where you can enjoy coffee in the outdoor courtyard. Later, take a private tango class with a professional dancer in a dance hall nearby. In the evening, dine at one of the city's best restaurants before witnessing the exciting Rojo Tango Show or a local milgona (a tango dancehall).

Day 3

Greeting and private transfer to the airport for your non-stop flight to Bariloche. Greeting upon arrival and private transfer to stay at the Llao Llao Resort, one of the most famous hotels on the continent. After lunch, enjoy a tour of the Llao Llao Peninsula followed by hiking or biking, depending on your interest. We recommend dinner at Cassis, one of Bariloche’s most elegant and intimate restaurants that will serve you meticulously presented cuisine blending the region’s native Patagonian flavors with its immigrant influences from Germany, Austria, and Italy.

Day 4

Llao Llao Resort, Golf & Spa Breakfast, Lunch

Enjoy a private boating excursion with your personal captain on Lake Nahuel Huapi. Land at Victoria Island where your guide will take you on a hiking excursion and introduce you to the flora and fauna. The island was inhabited by indigenous people before Spanish colonial rule. A wealthy landowner briefly took possession of the island before the government reclaimed it to serve as a tree nursery for unique and exotic species. The trails among this captivating landscape offer a unique experience in the Lake District’s natural setting. Your expert guide will help you navigate these trails. The southern part of the island includes the picturesque Cerro Quemado, the highest peak on the island. After the hike you will enjoy an intimate gourmet picnic lunch. After lunch hike back to your boat, and continue your boat trip along the Lake en route back to the jetty. In the evening, enjoy dinner at your hotel.

Day 5
Bariloche, Argentina

Private transfer to López Bay, a beautiful area along the shores of the Lake Nahuel Huapi where you will begin your hiking excursion accompanied by your expert guide. Head up the peaks to the Los Palotinos, a spectacular look-out point over the Tristeza arm of the Lake Nahuel Huapi, where you will have panoramic views of the area. From there you will ascend the mountain stopping at different levels to observe the unique views. Later you will head down to a secluded area by rappelling (optional) over a boulder, where you will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch with a view of the lake and the surrounding peaks. Alternatively, you can walk along an easy path to reach the picnic area. After lunch, descend down the mountain to the shore where you will return to the dock of your hotel on kayak.

Day 6
El Calafate, Argentina

Greeting and private transfer to the airport for your flight to El Calafate. Upon arrival, private guided visit of the innovative Glaciarium Museum which offers an interactive experience of the Patagonian ice field and nearby glaciers. Exclusive meeting with an expert glaciologist who will introduce you to the science of glaciers. Stay at the luxurious Eolo lodge, on a 3,000 hectare property in the La Anita valley located in the pristine and vast landscape of the Argentine steppe and away from the town. In the afternoon, you will have exclusive access to the Patagonian estate to go horseback riding to a spectacular lookout point with your personal guide. Enjoy a delicious dinner with fantastic views of the sun setting on the valley.

Day 7
El Calafate, Argentina

Visit the famous Los Glaciares National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its keynote Perito Moreno glacier, one of the only glaciers in the world that is not receding. After a short boat ride across the bay, experience a private ice-trekking excursion on the majestic Perito Moreno glacier crossing towering ice peaks, huge crevasses, turquoise blue creeks and icy lagoons with your specialized guide. Later, visit the spectacular catwalks and balconies facing the Perito Moreno Glacier for expansive and up-close views of the magnificent glacier.In the evening, relax in the pool or sauna of your lodge and enjoy the beautiful views of the valley from Eolo’s smartly-designed panoramic lounges followed by dinner.

Day 8
El Calafate, Argentina

Private transfer to Puerto Bandera where you will board the boat which takes you on a cruise towards Upsala Glacier, navigating through icebergs and breathtaking scenery until arriving at Estancia Cristina. Following a tour of the property, embark on a 4x4 excursion up the mountains through the forest. You will hike the 30 minute portion of the mountain to the peak for an incredible panoramic view of the Upsala Glacier. After a picnic lunch, begin your hike in descent from the top of the mountain, all the way to the estancia. This 4-hour trek downhill through the forest, surrounded by impressive views, will provide an opportunity to take in the beautiful Patagonian landscape and witness ancient fossils in the rock formations along the way (option to do this excursion by 4x4 instead). Finish the day with a boat ride back to Puerto Bandera where you will be transferred in private back to your lodge.

Greeting by your host and private transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival at the domestic airport, greeting and private transfer to the international airport in time for check-in assistance for your international flight home.
