We loved the location and the beautiful room we had with a balcony and a view of the canal. The only thing I missed was a gym, but I would still stay there again.

The breakfast was our favorite because of the location! It is a lovely hotel with an attentive staff in an easy location especially if you are traveling with an older adult who has issues with walking. The three bridges in front of the hotel have ramps in addition to stairs for easy access. The hotel also made some great recommendations for night time meals in easy walking distance.

The Hotel Danieli is a perfect location for exploring Venice. The staff was very accommodating. Provided us with great dinner recommendations. We were upgraded to a canal view room which was very lovely. .
It's an old palace, and looks it

This was a magical stay, Exceptional service, and exceptional view, and food upstairs in the restaurant. Location by St. Mark's Square is the best.

It was awesome. Very expensive, but one of the most beautiful hotels, and one of the most beautiful suites, we've ever stayed in. Would go back.

The Danieli was wonderful, the high points were the elegance and location. Also the concierges are great especially Heittiore, a vast fund of knowledge. As in all Italian hotels, the rooms are smaller, but comfortable and elegant. The only disappointment was the restaurant. Great Breakfasts with an unparalleled view, but do dinner elsewhere. Apparently it is an open secret among restaurateurs in venice that the food at the Danieli is terrible, but there are so many alternatives, a lesson learned.

The hotel is simply iconic. Arriving via water taxi to their little door on the side canal just off of the grand Canal is magical. The hotel itself is beautiful, so old world Venice. That alone might possibly make it worth the very expensive price that we paid for night in their off-season. It is a lovely touch having the front desk agent show is tomorrow room, and looking out that window onto the grand Canal is stunning. Having a drink in their bar was wonderful. Breakfast on the rooftop with it’s amazing views was dreamy. The staff were all lovely, with the exception of one or two concierges. They need to do a better job there, for sure. We were sent to a terrible restaurant on our first night, which should never be on their list. They are not super interested in helping hotel gas it appears, a tip helped with one concierge, but the attitude is not friendly. However we did not let that Mauer our stay at the beautiful hotel.

Cool hotel. Lobby off the charts with the whole byzantine arches, the Venitian Glass chandlliers, etc. Great drop off and pick up point in the little canal right off St. marks sq. terrific location if you want to be very near the square, doges palace etc. Rooms were good - not great. not as spacious as advertised. hotel seemed expensive relative to the rooms we got but hard to compare...don't know what other hotels cost. Italy is expensive anyway. Don't go unless you are prepared to spend a lot of $.
