Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows

My 16 yr old daughter, her friend and I had the pleasure of spending 7 nights at the beautiful Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica California this past March.  The service was over the top from the doormen that would never allow you to open the door yourself to the servers every morning at breakfast to the out standing counsieur service.  We really enjoyed starting our day with a delicious breakfast at the restaurant, the yogurt and berries were our favourite.  The hotel bikes were nice for a morning ride down to Vencie or Muscle Beach. In the evening we were spoiled to use the "house car" like we had our own private car and driver.  In a nut shell, we truly felt like Royalty staying at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel and I look forward to returning with my Husband and stay in one of the Bungalows.  Thanks Kyle and Ryan for making our vacation so memorable.

This is a beautiful hotel right across the street from the beach.  Everything I saw or used was above the normal standard of chain hotels.The bungalow was a very pleasant experience.  It was much larger than a regular room and made you feel right at home.I liked the idea of the workout clothes and shoes already in the room to encourage you to get out and do something.  I was not able to enjoy this as I have had serious back problems.I had a great massage at the Spa and Cooper loosened up my sore shoulders.I plan in revisiting this hotel again.

We wanted to be treated like Princesses on this trip and we got exactly that. No complaints whatsoever. Everything was perfect

Concierge took the time to research a good restaurant for my business meeting. He listened to my needs and requests and he was spot-on! Will definitely return.

We had a great view from our room. The room was clean, fresh and had good amenities. Plenty of celeb sightings here. One of the best entry ways anywhere.

Hotel public spaces are excellent, virtuoso amenities make it even better. Our ocean deluxe king was adequate, but not as luxurious as the rest of the hotel.

Great , only issue was room wasn’t ready at 4 pm and we had an event at 5 to be at.

Our stay was fantastic! The hotel was lovely and so family-friendly. They made us feel very welcome, especially my daughter, who received all sorts of personalized treats. I hope to be back again soon!

Santa Monica is beautiful and the location of this resort is super convenient to the beach. This is a big resort with a lot of families, so not the best if you want a quiet, romantic getaway.

You can't do better if you want to stay in Santa Monica. Rooms aren't remarkable (it's an old hotel and I'm sure a renovation is planned) but they are clean, and if you get a room with a view the vistas are exceptional. Fig, the hotel restaurant, serves a delightful breakfast and celebrity sightings aren't rare. Love the indoor/outdoor fitness room. The enormous Fig tree in the front is majestic and provides welcome shade. If they renovated the place to Four Seasons standards (doubt the City of Santa Monica would permit that sort of project) they could charge 2x the price. Super friendly staff at the valet, housekeeping, front desk, and restaurant.

What a class facility. We had a beautiful room, with an Ocean View. Wonderful stay....no fires...no mudslides.

The Fairmont was awesome. The Fig restaurant was the best. Great atmosphere and happy hour. We used their bikes for free all morning long. And the kids loved the pool. Rooms were clean and big. Would definitely go back.

The Fairmont Miramar is a very good hotel, with a magnificent Moreton Bay Fig tree dominating the entry. The water views are great and the whole setting is very relaxed and chilled. Unfortunately I was ill on our last day due to food poisoning at another establishment, and the Miramar staff were wonderful. Apart from driving me to the hospital, they extended our check-out time, and extended it again and again, despite being close to 100% occupancy. Thank you Fairmont Miramar, I would happily stay with you again.

Fairmont Miramar was a fabulous hotel, service was amazing. The pool was really busy one afternoon we were there and the staff worked hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. Great location!

The Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows is a lovely place with a friendly staff. The location is convenient to my destination and I'm very comfortable returning time and time again.

Great location, service, everything...note that the pool area is quite shady due to high buildings around it. Pool is heated to the perfect temperature, though.

This was a great hotel. Beautiful. Right across the street from the beach, steps to the 3rd Street Promenade, walking distance to restaurants, and a few blocks to The Santa Monica Pier. The staff was wonderful and attentive. The lobby was always hopping. I would go back again.

We have been staying at the Fairmont Miramar for many years. It’s very comfortable and the personnel get to know you and call you by name. It has a great location. Two blocks from 3rd Street promenade and across the street from the beach.

Our stay at the Fairmont did not disappoint. The palisades grand suite king accommodated our family of four very comfortably including an extra rollaway. We were perfectly situated to walk to the 3rd street promenade and to get to local dining. You could walk to the pier but chose to drive. The gym was well equipped and even had the opportunity to try a peloton workout. The cafe was perfect where we were able to find quick and easy breakfast food and coffee before starting our day as early as 5:30am. While valet parking was the only option and very expensive, it never took more than a couple of minutes to get our car. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the Fairmont Miramar was perfection, we just wish it was for longer. The team went above and beyond from the moment we walked in. Early check-in? Check. Upgrade? Check. Late checkout? Check. While hotel stays look a little different these days, we felt extremely safe at the Fairmont. Spending our days at the pool transported us to an oasis, all while being in the heart of Santa Monica. The food and drinks were delicious. We simply can't wait to return!

It was a great hotel. They made us feel very welcome and worked with us whenever we had issues. They never said no we can't, they said let's see what we can do for you no matter how small the accommodation. The staff was pleasant and the restaurant was delicious. Landa pointed us in the direction of Troy at guest services when she was not able to help us directly with a last minute tour. Troy worked to find something that fit into our schedule on short notice - he was amazing. The hotel location was great for our family as well.

The Fairmont Hotel staff is both engaging and wonderful. I can not say enough about the Fig restaurant happy hour, it's over the top on value and quality. The wait staff and manager could not have been more attentive and accommodating. I must call out the coffee bar across from the restaurant, I have spent 20 plus years traveling to Italy for work and always savored the fine coffee's I have had there and I can tell you that this coffee bar is fabulous and something even if you are only in the area is a must to stop by experience.

The Fairmont Miramar is hands down the best hotel in Santa Monica. Walking distance to everything. Beach, bikes, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc…Thank you for always taking care of me and making me feel welcome!

We enjoyed our stay at the Fairmont once again. Hope the the Covid restrictions are more relaxed and unnecessary the next time we are there!

If you are anywhere near Santa Monica stay at the Fairmont. A beautiful property right across fro the beach. They offer a car/driver for trips within a three mile radius - was such a treat for us out of towners. Loved all the mid-century furniture in the hotel room and on the floors, detail was awesome!

The Fairmont is a beautiful, very busy and trendy hotel in a very convenient location to Santa Monica and the surrounding areas. Great food and drinks, fun and happening bar, the staff was very lovely and helpful offering great service. They have a house car that will bring you to nearby locations which was a nice perk in the rain! We visited the spa which was small and not really fancy but had some nice amenities and had we all had great services. Would recommend this hotel and stay again for sure!

The Fairmont is a wonderful old hotel in a great location.

Lots of noise when I was there, no minibar or soft drinks after 11/12, decent pool

The hotel was lovely - very easily accessible and staff was friendly and helpful.
