      • We are working with Vivreau, as partners, to reduce this by placing sealed glass water bottles in all rooms each day, and doing away with many of the plastic water.

      • The Libuyu Women’s Peanut Butter Project empowers HIV-positive women and their children by providing the equipment they need to produce delicious artisanal peanut butter to sell.
    • Pack for a Purpose
      • With a philosophy of “Small Space. Little Effort. Big Impact” the Pack for a Purpose initiative encourages travellers to make an impact in the communities at their destination by donating. The Royal Livingstone Hotel is asking their guests to support the project.
    • The Livingstone Hospital
      • We are support the Livingstone Central Hospital in many different ways. Recently, they have supplied a new freezer, storage shelves, and are in the process of installing mosquito net frames onto 305 hospital beds.
    • Mini Textile Production
      • Minor Hotels Zambia has partnered with the local authority ladies to tie dye used linen from our hotels which will then be donated to the hospitals, clinics, old age homes and orphanages.
    • Waste Management
      • Minor Hotels are training all staff on proper recycling processes, to ensure that everyone understands the benefits. The Two bin system will be implemented, with proper labelling, for easier recycling practices to be followed.
