The Egerton House Hotel

Those who are fortunate enough to discover The Egerton House will find that the experience is more like staying with friends than visiting a boutique hotel. You'll want to return time and time again to this beautiful townhouse dating back to 1843, enviably located on a tree-lined street in fashionable Knightsbridge (just a short walk from Harvey Nichols and Harrods). The hotel features its own private art collection, and all of the 28 guestrooms and suites are individually designed and feature complimentary Wi-Fi and use of an iPod or iPad during your stay, as well as 24-hour room service with a full menu.

Hotel Tip

Pass on lunch and indulge in your complimentary high tea — a great way to get your London visit off to a relaxing start. –Andy Lunt Ellicott City, Maryland

What a charming, delightful hotel in London. The location is perfect, the suite comfortable, the breakfasts delicious, and the staff well trained and friendly. We were crazy about Antonio who knows how to make the perfect martini.

A three day stay, The Egerton House

When British Airway offered discounted fares that required an overnight stay we had no idea what a treat that would be. Melissa Reese found the great fare and knew where to have us spend the night. The Egerton House has a great location to spend a couple of day in London, A short walk to Kensington Palace, Victoria & Albert Museum, Royal Albert Hall, Harrods just to name a few places close. Afternoon Tea was part of the upgrades that were provided us along with the room with the great view of the quiet street. We got a private class in making martinis that ended our first day after the long flight. Coming back to the townhouse at night was like coming home, you were treated like family. It was a very comfortable stay in an exclusive and fashionable neighborhood.

Comfortable Hotel with Great Service

We have developed the habit of landing at the Egerton House when we land in London. The rooms are comfortable, the location suits us perfectly (V&A in one direction, Harrods the other), and most important, the staff is focused on providing outstanding service. Their recommendations are always good (this time it was "free lunchtime concert at St. Martin In The Fields") and delivered with a smile. Breakfast service is delightful and the food delicious. A terrific hotel.

It was perfect! Charming hotel, beautifully decorated, in a perfect location. Staff greeted us warmly upon arrival offering breakfast or tea or snacks. Enjoyed the bar and the "Martini Class". Very helpful in getting theater tickets as well as other places. Would stay there again.

What’s not to like about Egerton House. From the minute we arrived, we felt right at home. The room was tastefully appointee and cozy. Front of house staff was very friendly and accommodating. Esley, known for making the best martinis in London, made our nightcaps very enjoyable.
