Palmetto Bluff is one of the most beautiful locations in the U.S. We loved our spacious cottage with luxury appointments and views of the May River. Riding bikes throughout the resort was a unique experience. We so enjoyed having breakfast at Buffalo's daily with gorgeous views of oaks draped in Spanish moss and the charming little chapel on property. The staff at Palmetto Bluff exuded Southern hospitality. Special kudos to the two concierges who made many reservations for us and supplied all information requested, both pre-arrival and during our stay. We look forward to seeing the expansion as Palmetto Bluff works very hard to sustain its success as a top destination. Can't wait to return!!

We spent 4 nights on a Virtuoso package during what appeared to be off-season (late Oct). The facilities and grounds are beautiful and in great shape. The hotel and cabins are very new and the grounds crews are constantly at work. Our cabin was wonderful, large bedroom with fireplace, large bath with steam shower, and screen porch with a great view. The staff is very friendly because "they're southern and that's the way they were raised"! (We're from the south, so we're biased) There are lots of activities you can do, our favorite was a bike ride all over the property (flat and easy). The resort is secluded, but you will be about 30 minutes from Savannah and Beaufort if you need a 1/2 day trip. Spa and massage were both top-notch. The food is really good, I give it 4.5 stars, but maybe a little pricey. By using the Virtuoso package, the total tab at the end of the trip was very reasonable for the quality of the experience. You can relax here!

It was such a wonderful trip. Jennifer planned another last minute get away for us like it had been planned for months. The suite on the lagoon was the perfect size for us and 2 kids (and could accommodate more). The neighborhood was so beautiful and there is more to do there than we originally thought. It was a fantastic, relaxing weekend!!!

Our trip was near perfection from the time we pulled up in front of the hotel to the time we pulled away four days later. The people working there are uniformly attentive, friendly and helpful. The place is unbelievably clean ( how DO they keep so much white paint so very perfect with that humidity?) There was not so much as even a little dust in a corner even on the fabulous screened porch! We can hardly wait to go back. Our only tiny quibble would be that we found the food not quite “value for investment”. It wasn’t bad at all! However, I could not send rave reviews about it. Perhaps we should have made the effort to try the most upscale of the several restaurants there. Next time we will do that—-and there will certainly be a next time!
