Decent property when you're in the area

We arrived the property late at night - the manager on duty greeted us. We booked an ocean front king room, even though we did not receive the upgrade, it's spacious and comfortable. The only complaint that I have is the thin door - you can almost hear the entire conversation out in the hallway, and next door if you have a connector (it happened so there were some young ladies that were having too much fun next door that night. A phone call downstairs took care of that).

Having stayed at the Ritz Carlton Ft. Lauderdale the last five years, I would recommend it to families with children.  The residences are spacious.  There are two wonderful concierges who work in the lounge, Stephanie and Cindy who are so accommodating. However, since last year, there has been a decline in the offerings at the Club, both variety of food and drink.  It is the same breakfast every morning and quite limited. The late afternoon and cocktail offerings are quite slim and the same every night.  Much of the space where they laid out food in the past is empty.  When you stay for a week, this does make a difference. We had a dinner reservation secured by our travel agent for the outside patio. When we arrived, we were told there was no table and that they don't secure reservations on the patio. There was a table open and they did seat us when my husband pressed. Not what you expect from a Ritz and especially as a repeat guest.

I had to cancel the trip on doctor's orders. However, I have stayed at this hotel previously, and found it marvelous! Good food in the restaurants and great service from the staff. Lovely pool and beach lounges on a wide stretch of sandy beach. Which is why I chose it a third time.

Nice resort, friendly and attentive staff, great location. Would recommend staying on the 10th floor and above. The pool and playground are on the 7th floor. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this resort.

This Ritz Carlton is not as special as others but a perfectly fine one night stay. The view from the room was lovely and the restaurant was good.

We stayed at the Ritz between Christmas and New Years. As always, the service is impeccable in every way. The food is delicious from oatmeal to a filet. The beds are super comfortable (and we are bed people), along with beautiful showers and room. The fitness center is really big, lots of equipment, and classes to choose from, which is really important to us. The pool area is gorgeous over looking the ocean. One downside and tip is, because it's on the smaller side, if you want a seat, you'll need to get a space reserved at the start of the day!! Always a return place for us to visit.
