The Willard has a great history and a great location but it is tired and needs some TLC.  Probably not worth $600 a night.  I would recommend it but clarify that the hotel needs some updating (bathroom vanity was falling apart, tile a little moldy, rug worn and faded, chairs and couch dated).

A perfect location to see all the sights. Rooms were fine. Being a Historic hotel, one expects there to be some frayed edges with the interior but that just gives it its character. All services we good.

We enjoyed our stay at the Willard. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the Washington Monument. Cafe Du Parc was delicious for both breakfast and dinner. The historical Round Robin Bar is a fun place to have cocktails too!

Our stay at the Willard was great as always. This hotel is one of our favorite hotels in the world, and the Virtuoso F&B benefits, including daily breakfast at the excellent Cafe du Parc, are very generous. Can't wait to return!

Beautiful lobby and the Round Robin bar was a lot of fun. We offered our Virtuoso upgrade but it took so long for the Junior Suite to be cleaned we were offered an even better upgrade!! Bedroom, large entry hall, powder room, small kitchen area and large round living room..the Calvin Coolidge suite!! The first morning we went to the restaurant for breakfast and had the buffet. I would give it a ok rating. Ordered room service breakfast and it was much better. Overall a lovely hotel.
