Everyone with whom we dealt at the Aviara was wonderful... very helpful and welcoming. Obviously a hotel that welcomes children. We had a family gathering of 12, plus a 6-month old and the hotel was very accommodating.

Stayed in a spacious and comfortable Pool View King room with French doors & furnished balcony. Grounds are beautifully landscaped. Service is excellent...from front desk to valet to concierge. Enjoyed spending time in the spa solarium prior to a treatment. California Bistro which offered a nice array seasonal and local foods for breakfast and lunch. Did not play golf, but the Aviara Golf Club has amazing views of the Batiquitos Lagoon.

The Park Hyatt is a nice hotel in a beautiful setting. The grounds and golf course are comparable to others we have visited. It is a large hotel with friendly personnel always with a warm greeting when you enter. The rooms are very nice and spacious and our room overlooked the manicured pool area....really a pretty view. We liked the restaurant where we had breakfast each morning....great buffet and good service but we found it a little loud at times. We liked having it open at 6:30 A.M. because no one there and more pleasant.
We would recommend the hotel, although it is quite large and we really like a smaller boutique hotel.

The Park Hyatt Aviara exceeded all of our family's expectations. It is a wonderful place to enjoy with a family or without. The verandah just outside the lobby was our favorite place to enjoy meals as well as afternoon cocktails and games. We will be back!

We loved the Park Hyatt! The staff and service are extremely responsive and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was a highlight each morning. The location was great for us with one day at the zoo and one day at Legoland.

Fabric of hotel is very good and the money spent on the remodel is clear (apart from the condition of the pool loungers which are awful, albeit I acknowledge were starting to be replaced during our stay).
The real missing link on this property is not dissimilar to so many high end 5 star / AAA 5 diamond resorts since COVID...the resort is staffed by 18 year olds and the service leaves a huge amount to be desired. We paid $900 a night and it was a very real challenge getting anything done at the hotel, whether it be ordering food at a restaurant (which was extremely frustrating), getting housekeeping to come to your room and do what you had called and asked them to do three or four times already, or sitting in the lobby for >20 minutes while someone tried to find a bottle opener. Such basic flaws that should be so easy to fix. Per the front desk staff it appears that a lot of guests stay on points so perhaps good service isn't expected. We paid for our stay so hoped for better.

An oasis with a view and good sushi!

- Our patio in our room was magical, the room with the view is worth it here if you like to relax in your room! I spent hours out on the patio just enjoying the weather and the view.
- The Pacific Point Lobby bar and restaurant had amazing sushi and live music on Friday & Saturday night.
- The view from the adult only pool was awesome and I love a pool bar & restaurant. The pool was nice and warm and there were hot tubs we could enjoy on the cooler evenings. We don't have a family yet but if we did, this would've been a good spot for kids as well. There was a second pool with a giant waterslide and the restaurants had kids in them each night.
- It was an easy, short drive to Carlsbad & local beaches. We really enjoyed a casual lunch Mexican restaurant about 15 minutes away called Las Olas.
- We were so so impressed with the quality of the cleaning service each day and the evening turn down service, SO COOL! They even left new water for our room with each service. We felt like royalty!
