Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa is committed to preserving the environment while offering guests an unparalleled experience. Sustainability and conservation is seamlessly integrated into their operations, from the products they source to the experiences curated. A water recycling system has been implemented which drastically reduces the use of freshwater throughout the property’s gardens and grounds along with the installation of solar panels used to regulate the water temperature of 43 pools which saves 370,000 kilowatts of energy per month. The team also converts used cooking oil into biofuel which is then collected by recycling centers. Since its conception Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa has actively participated in wildlife preservation efforts working in collaboration with the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve ensuring the protection of flora and fauna.
