The St. Regis Florence

Newly renovated historical palace in the city center with view of the Arno river

The St. Regis Florence

The St. Regis Florence, a 15th-century palazzo set along the banks of the Arno River, has inspired the likes of E.M. Forster and Henry James. You’ll be writing tributes to its modern take on Renaissance-era elegance, canopied beds, colorful brocades, custom frescoes and crystal chandeliers. (Book a river-view room facing the Ponte Vecchio, the oldest of Florence’s bridges — very romantic!) The hotel’s service, including personal butlers and the city’s most savvy concierges, is legendary. Multiple Michelin-stars-awarded Chef Valeria Piccini’s vision elevates Tuscan gastronomic culture to the highest degree at Winter Garden by Caino.

Hotel Tip

Don’t miss the Champagne Ritual, held each evening from 7 to 8pm in the Winter Garden Bar. It’s a must-see experience in a lovely setting. –Michele Merritt Memphis, Tennessee

We loved the St. Regis in Florence. From the time we were welcomed, until we departed, the staff was over the top. We were upgraded to a wonderful room with butler service. The decor of our room was unique and very Italian. We looked forward to breakfast every morning. The staff remembered you, and what you liked, as far as coffee preference. We enjoyed the champagne and sabre entertainment each night. We enjoyed a very nice lunch one day and met one of the staff, that gave us very individualized treatment. The hotel was in a great location for seeing the sites of Florence.

Exceptional experience, beautiful hotel, excellent food, outstanding service. When our room was not ready upon our early arrival, we were given a temporary room to freshen up. Once we checked into our room, it was definitely an upgrade and beyond our expectations. We couldn't have picked a better hotel for our stay in Florence!

Great location and beautiful hotel. The service was outstanding and the food was very good. The only thing it lacked (for us) was outdoor space... garden, outdoor terrace to have drinks, etc...
