    Our Commitment

    Always sensitive to environmental issues and pollution prevention, the hotel promotes sustainable management of its business, implemented and certified, since 2002, by an Environmental Management System in accordance with UNI EN ISO 14001.

    We are aware that daily consumption can have an incisive impact on the land, therefore the Environmental Policy adopted by Il San Pietro embraces a wide range of aspects, ranging from suggestions to guests aimed at promoting behaviors that are eco-sustainable behaviors to the optimal use of water and energy resources, from reducing waste production to the prevention of noise pollution.

    Hot water and air conditioning are produced by heat pumps with zero emissions. The kitchen is equipped with an electrical load control system that allows it to run with only 150W against a nominal consumption value of 350W. It is also equipped with a "Tri- generative" system: the motors generate heat and do not disperse it into the environment but turn it into domestic water. The kitchen also has an aspirating ceiling that during the night releases ozone into the rooms and allows total sanitization of the rooms and equipment. The production of ozone occurs through a mechanical and non-chemical process, by contact of the air with electrical discharges.
