The Connaught is one of our favorite hotels, but it can be difficult to secure the best room as the hotel is small and often full to capacity. Sally worked with management in advance to ensure the room category and location that we wanted would be available for us. The hotel was undergoing a remodel in one of the restaurant areas, but this was not an inconvenience at all. Staff is very friendly and the bars and restaurants all have welcoming atmospheres and good service.

Tucked away in heaven

This perfectly charming hotel is tucked away in marvelous Mayfair. It is walking distance to everything from Harrods to the theatre district and beyond, depending on how much time you have. The room was picture perfect. There was a beautiful display of tiny delectable orange pound cakes waiting for us in the room, which was decorated in a classic 'old world' sort of comfortable charm. The hotel personnel are all lovely and helpful and the hotel was a very lively place all day and night (the bars and restaurants). It is around the corner from Scotts, arguably one of the best seafood restaurants in London. It is surrounded by lovely, interesting shops and once inside, you would have trouble knowing which century you were in, if not for the nice flat screen TV's! Very small and clubby feeling. Lovely.
