Magnificent grounds, superior service, excellent food and beautiful accommodations make the Hotel Bel-Air the perfect hideaway in the crowded and busy city of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles in Style

The Bel-Air is an amazing property- the staff all remember you and treat you like family. That goes for any Dorchester Collection- the staff treat you so well that it hurts to check out. Decor is understated but beautiful- flowers are abundant and the rooms are nicely tucked away within what looks like a pink Mediterranean palace. The swan gardens are lovely and very unexpected. Rooms are simple yet very tasteful. Dining/drinking at Wolfgang Puck is a must! It's my new favorite restaurant in Los Angeles.

Glorious!

Our stay, 15 of us strong, 7 rooms(!) was spectacular. The staff of the hotel made my mother-in-law's 85th birthday celebration a dream come true. From the bellhops to the concierge, to the manager, their touch was flawless. They arranged fabulous outings, dinners and even gave the birthday girl an upgrade to the Grace Kelly suite topped off with a silver-wrapped gift...a pink robe and slippers. She felt like a queen! The grounds are spectacular, the lobby chic and elegant, the older rooms updated yet still maintaining an old Hollywood feel and the new canyon rooms so spectacular...the views overlooking the city or the hills from the perch of gorgeous verandas hosting hot tubs and fireplaces. Elegant, cool, and meticulously maintained...I wouldn't stay anywhere in LA but the Bel-Air!
