Baglioni Hotel Regina

The unforgettable Italian Touch in the heart of Rome

Baglioni Hotel Regina

Celebrities and heads of state alike adore Baglioni Hotel Regina for its prized location on Via Veneto. The hotel was built in 1892 and named for Queen Margherita of Savoy — marvel at the queen's turn-of-the-century bronze and marble staircase. Combining the elegance of bygone eras with thoroughly modern conveniences, the 117 lavish rooms and the Roman Penthouse Suite are decorated in traditional and sleek art deco style with authentic details. Stop by the wellness area, an urban retreat with a spa and fitness center. Brunello Lounge & Restaurant presents an innovative ambience for enjoying tasty and refined Italian cuisine.

No real complaints but felt the hotel and its restaurant were over priced for what we received.

The stay was fine. But I would not recommend the hotel. Its very tired, the service is not very good and what they called a renovated room felt old.

It was a mixed bag. The concierge was fabulous and able to accommodate every request - from dinner recommendations to tours, tour guides and modes of transportation. The desk clerks were difficult a check-out and we were refused an iron and ironing board because of "security reasons."
