It is a unique facility and may work for some guests. The water in the pool was too cool and the room was shabby. However the restaurant was superb. The hotel is older and has charm.

Fantastic resort

This resort is amazing! Full of so many quiet little outdoor nooks and quiet spots and fountains that it is very easy to get lost in despite its fairly small acreage. There is an incredible amount of detail and care in this facility and grounds that can be seen down to the smallest level. We are nature enthusiasts and rarely spend much time at our accommodations but we only left this one a couple of times to eat! This resort does cater to a higher quality of life then we are accustomed to and as such we got "caught" by a few fees we did not know to look for. One example, parking was concealed and it appeared that our only option was valet, on checkout we found out that we paid a $31 parking fee and $25 valet fee for EACH night we were there as we had used the valet the entire time! On leaving we think we saw the "regular" parking area. Still recommend the resort and if you go don't bother planning other excursions!
