Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach

The Waldorf at Monarch Beach was a lovely resort for our family vacation. The property was immaculate and laid out very nicely. There was plenty of space all over the property. The beach was fantastic and they even provided our kids with beach toys to play with. The pools were wonderful and the service by the pool was some of the fastest we have ever experienced. The food was great on property and one of the highlights was the little market in the lobby, it was great for quick snacks for everyone. The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas and the Thanksgiving buffet was incredible. The rooms were some of the nicest we have stayed in compared to other similar resorts in that area. The rooms were incredibly spacious and well stocked with everything you could ever need. We will definitely be back!

Gorgeous location and beautiful resort! Lots to do on campus and the e-bike tour the hotel helped us to arrange was super. Excellent restaurants and golf, and the trolley ride to the beautiful beach club was a highlight.

The Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach was great for our four day family trip to Disneyland. Just 30 minutes away from the park, staying at the Waldorf allowed us to have an actual vacation post Disney. Definitely a convention hotel feel but lots of activities to keep our kids busy. A lot of the hotel restaurants closed at 5 which was tricky but daytime dining was fabulous by the beach!

One of our favorite hotels in Orange County. We love heading up from San Diego for a little get-away, and this is our go to hotel.

Recently remodeled and looked and felt good. Again too expensive with high add-ons. Upscale hotels in general are becoming very expensive - - considering the time spent at the hotel and the amenities, or lack of.

My wife and I were both struck at how nice everyone was. Very helpful, and courteous. They were accommodating, knowledgable, and not pretentious, which places like this can be at times. The pools, grounds, hot tubs which were a great temp. and the restaurant was wonderful (: The staff was very knowledgeable, always wanting to help, it was great! One down side was, that they seemed to not have all the info from the booking, or had if mixed up. When we showed them the travel agents booking, and communication with the travel agent, they honored it without question. I would go back!

This hotel is perfect for families! We loved all the kid friendly activities available for our family.

Virtuoso benefits of early check in and late check out were not honored even when the property had abundant capacity. Quality of food for breakfast and at pool were so overpriced and not delicious either. Won’t book again - would rather stay at Pelican Hill or Montage Laguna
