The hotel was simply outstanding. The customer service was beyond belief. I truly felt liek my needs were anticiapted and everyone immediately knew who I was - when I asked for a replacement key, teh agent said, "No worries, sir, I remember your Florida driver's license"The food at ethe restaurtant was delicious and the staff was very attentive.I had a spa treatment, by a Polish woman who had been there 11 years (I forget her name) - words cannot describe the utter bliss and complete relaxation afforded me during that treatment. The Four Seasons is my new Chicago hotel of choice.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location

We love staying at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. The hotel is beautiful. Our children love the indoor pool and children's play room. We love the attentive staff and luxurious rooms. The location is perfect for sightseeing and shopping - right across from the John Hancock building, adjoining one shopping center, and a short block away from WaterTower Shopping Center. There are wonderful restaurants and shops all around. In the summer, we could easily walk to the nearby beach. The staff prepared a wagon and some sand toys for our children when we went. I would highly recommend this hotel for a perfect stay in Chicago.

Luxury on the Magnificent Mile
Reviewed on: 08 Jan 2015
I spent Thanksgiving week with my 2 children at the Four Seasons Chicago and had a wonderful stay. Our room was spacious and looked onto Lake Michigan with the Magnificent Mile below our window. For families, the hotel has several fun programs available (pizza making in the kitchen and visits from the ice cream man), a guest room which has been converted into a kids play room with air hockey, wii, tons of books and board games and, toys, and the gorgeous indoor pool area is the perfect respite from cold days in the city. The service at the hotel was good, really exceptional service at the restaurant, Allium. Virtuoso benefits at the FS Chicago are fantastic and ensured we all had a memorable stay.

Beautiful but With Flaws
Reviewed on: 05 Dec 2016
The hotel itself is beautiful with a prime location that is steps away from the Magnificent Mile and other coveted Chicago attractions. The lobby as well as the Allium restaurant are very breathtaking. Rooms were basic and left more to be desired (we had Executive Suites). Dining quality is excellent. Staff on the most part have a friendly demeanor. While staff are friendly, many of them did not appear to go out of the way to help guests. We had issues with a few staff members not being responsive/receptive and noticed other guests with similar issues. When this was brought to management's attention it was brushed off. Overall- go for the looks of the hotel and the ambience/restaurant. If staff issues commonly bother you, head to the Peninsula.

Great location, excellent massage, brunch buffet was wonderful and the hotel was full of beautiful weddings -- which never impacted the quality of our service.

Amazing Property and Staff

Great location for a winter getaway - just steps from shopping on Michigan Avenue and a quick Uber from the holiday lights at Lincoln Park or the Christmas market at Daly Plaza. The staff was so great to our family - especially the kids (age 9 and 11). They greeted them by name and had robes and gifts for them on the bed when we checked in. Every night they had snacks waiting for them in the room. Very nice touches!
