REDUCE
- Solar photovoltaic system
- 4,000 sq ft hydroponic garden produces 300 lbs of lettuce weekly
- Reusable water bottles in guestrooms with filtered water stations throughout resort
- LED light replacement
- Air-conditioning is controlled on an Energy Management System.
- Electronic timers on kitchen exhaust fans and water feature pumps minimize energy use
- Guest environmental linen replacement program
- Green Earth dry cleaning
- Grass covered roofs reduce cooling needs and energy use.
- Wet waste from kitchens delivered to pig farmers for feed
REUSE
- Energy efficient AquaRecycle system for laundry water reduces water usage

- Waste cooking oil is converted into bio-diesel fuel.
- All usable items such as mattresses, art, furniture, dishes, etc. are sold benefiting local charities
RECYCLE
- Recycle bins are in guestrooms and throughout the resort for guests to deposit glass, plastic, and aluminum waste
- We divert over 40% of our waste from the landfill, including 15 tons of recyclables, 12 tons of green waste and 38 tons of wet waste monthly.

- Heat produced by the air conditioning system is converted to heat our swimming pools.
