Although the ride to the resort was white knuckle in a rainstorm (driving on the opposite side of the road with Barry constantly telling me i was drifting too close to the side) it was SO totally worth it. The resort grounds were spectacular, the valley where the property was settled was nestled between these amazing mountains. The individual huts with own private pool were warm, inviting while luxurious. Every morning we woke to kangaroos, wallabies and wombats feeding in our backyard. The staff were extremely accommodating and food and wine delicious. The lodge was so inviting and lovely. the spa treatments were top notch, i had a massage and facial and after all the traveling and long flights, it was just what my body needed, we totally relaxed in front of the fire each night after an amazing meal. We did bush walk to the top of Donkey Mountain did a horse ride and just relaxed.. a perfect setting.

Glad I went. Surrounding scenery fabulous. Opened my eyes (once again) to Australian scenery. Very comfortable and well appointed bungalows. Enjoyed the wildlife. Both the food and service didn’t knock my socks off. Several occasions had to call over a server to order drinks. Overall staff are too casual about their job (from my point of view). If it were my place I’d be providing quite specific training. We went to rest and catch up on Eastern Standard time and it worked. Except for “Sundowners ($60 each) new didn’t do any other activities. Value for money Mmmmm! I won’t return and neither would I recommend it to anyone really. It really “wasn't” all inclusive for the price.
