The Lodge at Woodloch

The biggest problem is deciding which of the many physical, artistic , spa, culinary and educational activities one wants to take! The Lodge at Woodloch excels in every way. It is beautiful and all staff are talented and incredibly professional. I marvel at how each spa professional is so expert in delivering his/her service. The exercise class instructors are top notch and hold multiple certifications in their disciplines. The food is wonderfully prepared, creative and delicious. The chef utilizes much of the local fare in his dishes. The Lodge is a class A property, meticulously maintained. The area is beautiful and the perfect place to hold this gem. After 4 annual stays at the Lodge, I have been continually delighted and never disappointed.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Woodloch. The staff is exceptionally trained. They are there to please their clientele. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable. The classes are well run with the safety and well being of their clients being a priority. There are lots of things for everyone to do. We traveled as a group of six but all went our own ways exploring all that Woodloch had to offer. We met up for our meals and every once in awhile we found ourselves in classes together. It was a terrific get away.

The resort, the treatments, classes and food were all fantastic. A great escape close to NYC. The only disappointment was that there is no outdoor pool.

While I had high expectations for the Lodge at Woodloch based on friends who had been there, it exceeded them. You can make your time there whatever you want it to be. All the staff were very helpful. Our room was immaculate, quiet, and perfect views. There was a class for everyone. Women's locker room was also immaculate and staff right on top of things. The spa options were great and my massage and body polishes were excellent. The food was delicious with good variety and the bartender makes a great cosmo, just don't recommend after a 75 minute massage! Slept well that night. If there was even a tiny negative, the bachelorette parties in the spa were a little annoying but the staff handled them beautifully.

This was a wonderful experience for my family from the youngest to the oldest (91), we had three generations and fun filled days packed with activities for everyone Highly recommend

The Lodge was perfect for a family reunion. There were lots of activities to choose from. The help was courteous. The dining experience was excellent.

Beyond any expectations. Superb in every way. There were ten in our party ranging in age of 20-85 . Everyone felt the same

We had a wonderfully relaxing time at Woodloch Lodge and would definitely return.

The Lodge at Woodloch advertises "lavish" accommodations. We had an "upgraded" junior deluxe room that was comparable to a Hampton Inn. We were assigned to the lowest floor and heard the "thumping" overhead from guests despite assurances that the room would be quiet. The dining was worse than the accommodations. We ordered two filet mignons. One was perfect. The other was flattened and overcooked. It was baffling how the chef could prepare two identical meals and have them leave the kitchen so differently. In fairness, we received compensation for the meal. We were scheduled to stay three nights but left after one. We were grateful that the property facilitated our departure and did not attempt to hold us responsible for the other two nights on our reservation.

Cindi and I were talking one day and she said she was going to Woodloch. I said oh I went there. She said “ why didn’t you let me book it?” Hmmm didn’t know she did that too( what doesn’t this woman do?) Anyway, wanted to go for a friend’s birthday. Cindi handled everything of course. Everything was flawless and the reception people even acknowledged our booking thru Cindi! She’s famous!!!

This is the perfect getaway for a group of friends. Lots to do, the people are amazing and the facility is top notch. Highly recommend!

I had never been to a destination spa before. Yes. You really can wander around the public areas and have breakfast and lunch in your robe and slippers. It didn't take me long to acclimate. I found the staff friendly, warm, and welcoming. I booked a massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure, and I was quite happy with all of them. I particularly enjoyed the warm whirlpool baths. There was one with an artificial waterfall that provided a natural massage to your back and neck when you stood or sat under it. That was very nice. My favorite was the outdoor one. I could slip off my robe and submerge myself up to my chin in the warm/hot water and breathe the 26-degree outdoor air deeply into my lungs at the same time. Wonderful! I enjoyed the food. You could order off the menu or you could choose from a breakfast buffet and a lunch buffet. And, yes, it's a spa, but there are desserts. Finally, my room was the largest hotel room I've ever had, complete with balcony.

This was our 16th stay at the Lodge, and it is always a wonderful experience. From the artfully prepared and delicious meals to classes that challenge you out of your comfort zone, the Lodge never disappoints. The spa is top notch. The staff members are highly knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Through the years, we have had the opportunity to get to know many of the dining staff and activities personnel. It is truly our home away from home!
