Lack of communication

The Four Seasons in SF needs to improve their communications with their guests. For example, on the email confirmation the address you should put in your GPS if you are driving to the hotel is on the second page buried among all the other conditions and services in small print in an area you never read. It should be in large print right under the confirmation dates of your stay. It really messed us up trying to arrive on Market St. The hotel should have told us when we checked in that there was a special event on Sunday and we would either need to make a reservation for our breakfast (which was a Virtuoso amenity) or be finished with breakfast by 11 AM. They did not communicate any of this information to us. So when we arrived for our complimentary breakfast on Sunday morning, we were told if we didn't have reservations, it was all booked. We were told we could sit in the bar. When I complained, they said if we finished breakfast by 11, we could be seated. No problem.

I had a great two days in San Francisco at this FS. It's a beautiful hotel and it's right in the center of things by all the main shopping - I personally had a date with Dior for a ring I'd been eyeballing from afar - my welcome was warm and I was promptly checked in and shown to my beautiful room. A private corner suite with a view of the city and windows all around - it had a long hallway into the room for a lot of privacy and was quiet and lovely. A cake was awaiting me for my birthday and the housekeeping staff kept the room neat and tidy while I was there. I spoke to the concierge for quite a while to get my bearings and make sure I didn't waste any time. They were excellent and provided me with maps and advice on the best way to get around the city and see and do all the things I wanted to see in my short two days in town.

First of all, I appreciate having my room upgraded on Labor Day's full booking day. There is a request for improvement by only one point. I got the benefits of FS 'preferred partner via agent. The booking confirmation was stated as providing an American breakfast in the restaurant or in the room. However, the breakfast credit was shown only as $ 43.5 in the slip of the amenity we had at the time of staying. Unfortunately, with this credit, I could not eat an American breakfast, which cost an average of $ 70 for American breakfast. If it is possible, please show the booking confirmation to the actual situation. Because there is a difference in each notation.
