OUR FAMILY OF FIVE ENJOYED OUR STAY TREMENDOUSLY. WE LOVED THE UNDERSTATED LUXURY OF THE RESORT AND LOVED THE SETTING IN THE HILLS OUTSIDE SANTA FE. IT'S NOT FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO BE ABLE TO WALK TO SANTA FE ... WHICH WE DIDN'T. THE SERVICE WAS TOP NOTCH, AND OUR ACCOMMODATIONS WERE AMPLE AND VERY COMFORTABLE. THE OUTSIDE SPACE WAS LOVELY AND WELL-USED. WE LOVED THE POOL AND THE FITNESS FACILITY. THE DINING AREAS WERE LOVELY AS WELL, AND THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS.

Great hotel - probably the best in Santa Fe

While we loved the hotel, it needs a bit of work to live up to incredibly high Four Seasons standards. Certainly no glaring problems and maybe it was more about my high expectations and busy holiday weekend.

The resort is beautiful and the staff is excellent in every facet of their service. The food is very good but the menu is limited. The concierge helped us in planning our activities and their suggestions were spot on. All in all, a great trip.

Our stay at the Four Seasons Rancho Encantado was very nice. It is a very casual resort. We found most of the staff to be friendly and helpful. The service is not up to the standard of what you expect from a Four Seasons experience. There were things that were overlooked and we had to address. The service in the restaurant at breakfast time was a little slow. The menu in the restaurant was too limited at breakfast. A breakfast buffet would have been nice so that you could choose rather than having fruit or a large breakfast. The casitas were roomy with a nice sitting area. The heated closet and bathroom was a comfortable amenity that kept the bathroom warm even though the air was chilly. Larry in the bar was wonderful. He was friendly and accommodating when we wanted to sit outside and he tried to get the heat lamps to work. Amber was great at breakfast time. She remembered the tea my husband liked. Erin was a complete disappointment as a waiter.
