Great choice for hotel in downtown Mexico DF but . .

By: Scott

This hotel is a 9 out of 10. So why the but? Well, you expect 5 star service from a Four Seasons property. For whatever reason, particularly in the dining room here and here but even in houskeeping, there seemed to be a lot of misses and malaise in modest requests. Small stuff like one of two room's TVs not working, housekeeping failing to pick up on different dates with special instructions post dinner, hunting for silverware during course changes in the casual dining room, etc. Other than those things that you would not expect from the Four Seasons, the property is excellent. Well appointed large rooms, excellent dining and shopping options, very very secure property, beautiful architecture and design, solid health facility, and terrific central location.

I have never stayed at a Four Seasons before. Because we got a good rate, we were able to stay and now I am spoiled and wish I could always book a Four Seasons. They are the best! Beautiful and the staff is so kind and helpful.
