Hayfield Manor Hotel
Beyond the Best

Nestled within private gardens in the city, Hayfield Manor unexpectedly brings to mind the Irish countryside of 18th-century novels. Linger upon arrival to absorb the unique hospitable ambience that greets you. Each individually styled bedroom is replete with antiques and lush fabrics. Unwind with afternoon tea, complete with champagne, fresh-baked goods and Irish teas. Savor the local gourmet fare for which Cork is renowned with fine dining in Orchids or a casual meal in Perrotts Bistro. The Beautique Spa has an array of Elemis treatments. Charming, first-class service sets Hayfield Manor apart as an experience beyond the best.
Hotel Tip
Although this looks like a country estate, Hayfield Manor is only a ten-minute walk to the bustling heart of Cork, Ireland's second city.Virtuoso Preferred Supplier Since 01 Sep 2003

Spacious accommodations with great views of the gardens and excellent breakfast Enjoyed the fresh air and the great customer service. The wi-fi was acceptable but not very fast. The staff from the front desk to the room service to the restaurants and bar were excellent. This is one of the more relaxing hotels I have been in during my travels abroad.

I enjoyed this hotel. It was warm and charming. Bed was quite lumpy though. I didn't sleep as well as I could have.

I am so sad that we were only able to spend one night in this hotel. The place was beautiful and every one was so kind and helpful. We absolutely loved it and would jump at an opportunity to visit again!

Away from the main city core, the staff were welcoming and the hotel itself was a cut above the rest. Would recommend this hotel very highly.

A restful place in bustling Cork

We enjoyed this bustling hotel, which manages to create a peaceful environment in a busy flourishing city.
We were upgraded to a wonderful suite with separate master bathroom including a claw foot tub. I took a big soak in it and felt like the queen of Sheba. The weather was difficult due to a hurricane hitting the northern part of the country, so it was an ideal time for us to catch our collective breaths. We took advantage of the spa, using the outdoor jacuzzi, indoor pool and sauna, and the gymn. Very relaxing and much appreciated.
Daily breakfast was terrific, and the high tea delightful. We also enjoyed a day trip to a nearby seaside town. One day the weather cleared enough for us to do a drive to the Ring of Kerry. A lifetime experience not to be missed. We were unprepared for the stunning vistas, breadth, depth and scope of the ring. They had laundry done for us while we were gone, and were even able to get some us dollars converted.
