Keswick Hall and Golf Club

Keswick Hall and Golf Club

Make a declaration of indulgence at Keswick Hall, a historic 600-acre estate just minutes from Thomas Jefferson’s beloved Monticello. Here, at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, time naturally slows down — despite the latest technology upgrades made during the 48-room mansion’s latest renovations. You’ll be hard-pressed to leave this bucolic setting, home to Pete Dye’s Full Cry golf course, a top-ranked tennis center and an extensive, Audubon-approved trail system. Go fly-fishing, play croquet or try your hand at archery. The Southern-inspired fare at Fossett’s is sure to please.

Keswick Hall Review

By: Hugh

Reviewed on: 13 Oct 2017

My wife and I have stayed at Keswick Hall a number of times over the past several years including earlier this year. While we overall enjoyed our stay, especially the golf, we did notice a decline in the level of services as compared to previous visits: 1. Had to request a change in our room to be comparable with our friends (same package) - Room significantly smaller, no clock, no safe and lack of water pressure. 2. Had difficulty getting service in the bar the first night for dinner and while our waiter was a very nice young man he lacked the necessary training. 3. Had an extensive wine list, which had not been updated for some time and, as a result, had difficulty both nights getting the wine we desired. d. Gentlemen are requested to wear jackets in the dining room; however, the Dining Room Manager does not wear one. While none of these issues other than the room are significant, taken as whole it made our stay at Keswick Hall seem a little less special.
