Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London

Re-invented and re-imagined in 2019, Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London once again offers luxurious accommodations between glorious royal parkland and the fashionable Knightsbridge. The internationally renowned designer Joyce Wang drew inspiration from the hotel’s royal heritage and peaceful parkside location, as well as the glamour of the 20th century’s golden age of travel. All 181 guest rooms and suites are more luxurious than ever before, with the addition of two new penthouses, both featuring terraces that overlook the royal park. Many of the guest rooms and suites are interconnected, making them ideal for families.

Sustainability
Our Commitment
Sustainability values are deeply ingrained in Mandarin Oriental’s heritage; one of our key guiding principles is “Acting with Responsibility”. For more than 50 years Mandarin Oriental has been recognised as a leader in luxury hospitality. The Group is dedicated to delivering service excellence and to operating its hotels and residences in a responsible and sustainable way.
The UN Sustainable Development Goals serve as an important reference point for the Group as we execute our sustainability policy and programmes, and our recent reports show the progress that has been made towards our environmental goals.
In 2018 we began to prioritise specific goals to further reduce energy, water, waste, and carbon emissions in each of the markets in which we operate and our report highlights our progression. We also created an executive advisory panel for sustainability to act upon these and other key issues, which include devising a programme for responsible procurement, and our pledge to eliminate all single-use plastic across our entire portfolio of hotels by the end of March 2021.
All of our sustainability initiatives and innovations are supported by the dedication and hard work of Mandarin Oriental’s 12,500 colleagues who continue to identify impactful ways to respond to local community and environmental needs.
